That stuff is hard to deal with as a partner of someone doing it. I'm sure it isn't easy for you either but there's going to need to be work on both sides. For you, management of whatever triggers bring you to that point before you get there...and better coping skills when you do. For her, understan...

Neurotypicals often denigrate and insult a person while alive but elevate the person to a position of godhood on the day of death. Why do they have the custom of hating a person while alive yet adoring the person while dead? They are the definition of hypocritical human beings. I've never been able...

It means that when I wake up in the morning, I like to have three things (cereal, a granola bar and a glass of orange juice) and if one of these things is missing, it causes...discomfort. It's not so simple as just saying, "Oh well. I guess I'll eat waffles today." Usually I eat nothing for breakfas...

I feel you man. I just spent half of my week re-installing Windows twice because everything stopped working. I have Vista, which is a nightmare. If you do re-install iTunes, be aware that you'll have to manually authorize your computer this time. This is pretty simple once you know what it means. I ...

Zeno, try being a real man and quit taking out your mommy issues on unsuspecting WP women. I'm not your mother. If you want to continue this conversation, so be it, but you'll be having it alone. I have no use for people who try to bully others to bolster their own ego. And you call me pathetic.

This question has been asked ad nauseum, but since I had to wipe my disk and lost all my links today, can someone point me to the link for changing the line under our name?

Why this isn't easily accessible from the edit page escapes my logic.

I dunno, that doesn't make sense. I mean, people with bipolar and depression and anxiety aren't being denied medical coverage, so why autism and AS?

I literally knew from the first day she was born that my daughter was different. With my son, everything seemed fine until he was about 1 1/2.

I noticed something wasn't right immediately with my daughter, the very first day she was born, because she screamed instead of crying. Lucky for me (note sarcasm) she continued to cry by screaming through her entire infancy and until shortly after she was two. The next curious thing was her need to...

Mmmmmmmmm. Stimmy. I have always loved LOVED loved looking at rainbow colors. Separate them and meh, but together *WOW*. It looks so good it's almost a physical sensation of pleasantness. I can't describe it. I also love Koosh balls. They're so sensory-rich. Since I have fairly severe sensory issues...
