I don't know anyone who says "twenty oh eight" or "twenty oh nine" . everyone I know says "two thousand nine".

However, I personally will use "twenty ten", "twenty eleven", etc. when those years come up.

a person's ears, nose, and fingers will get cold faster than the rest of their body because your body pulls blood from those places to help warm the rest of your body. I read that in a magazine once.
