There might be sensory issues, too. Definitely the sparklies! My 8 year old AS boy loves loves LOVES sparkly things. Not that this is universal, but I think everyone is drawn to shiny objects. Ooo, shiny! And kids pick up so quickly on the fact that pennies aren't worth much (darn that teaching of monetary value in kindergarten!). Jew...

Hi - I'm new and this is my first post! My son (almost 8 years old) chews EVERYTHING he can get his hands on. He chewed the knob cover off of the Gamecube controller the other day. We keep looking for fidget toys for him, but can't use most of them because they aren't chew-safe. He does like chewing...
