I have absolute pity for any person pathetic enough to have been so affected by me in highschool that my failure would elicit some response of joy in them. How terribly worthless do you have to be, to wish for and celebrate the lack of success of some other individual. If they were really that tied ...

I've met a couple of people that I believe have Asperger's and also have what I'd define as a lower than average level of intelligence. But they function differently to NT's in the same way I function differently to NT's. Those that have AS that I'd consider to also possess a high IQ, are similarly ...

I often can't complete a list of simple tasks if one task cannot be completed or is taking longer than expected. But when it comes to larger projects, I have the opposite problem. I usually lose interest/momentum and start a new project, never finishing any that I start. Some days are worse than oth...

Autism is caused by Hans Asperger. He created Autism under controlled conditions in Vienna 1938 as a possible weapon to use against the growing Nazi menace. Over the next few years, Autistic super soldiers fought a bloody and largely invisible war with the Third Reich and thanks to Asperger and late...

The problem with video cards is that quite often the software will simply check for your card on a list, and if it's not there, it tells you your card is not good enough. So, even if you have a superior card or one that will easily chug through whatever the software requires of it, it still will ass...

Why call it Windows 7 anyway? People will ask why it has a version number of 6.1 if it's supposed to be 7

I thought it was because 7 was Mickey Mantle's number...

Oh, no, wait. That's why George Costanza was going to call his kid "7".

ooOoOoOAnaOoOoOoo, theoretically, the strong magnetic fields applied to a very small area, will cause electrons to move along the neurons and stimulate brain activity it those areas. Essentially, it's like switching on brain cells or passing a current through them to either clear them out or stimula...

Wow. I was looking into trying to get this for my migraines. You mean I could risk losing my AS? That'd be terrible. I'm glad you posted! I don't think it makes you a heretic for wanting to improve your compatibility or make life easier. If that were so, I'd be a heretic curebie, because over the ye...

I thought it was just me! As with all my symptoms, this is something that has improved the older I get, but I have always had a problem interpretting hunger and thirst. As a teenager I could go for days without eating and I'd wonder why my stomach would hurt. I'd just ignore it. I grew up very skinn...

The best thing that you can do, that anyone can do, is to be supportive and accepting. There's not much you can do personally to change his behaviour. A psychiatrist might be able to use cognitive behaviour therapy or something similar to help your brother adapt quicker, but there's no cure or quick...

I think I could republish this article with a few editorial changes. And the title is all wrong. It needs to be something more along the lines of... Being born an Autistic child to ignorant and self-centred parents wrecks your life!! Much better, and more accurate. Seriously, these people sound like...
