The world does not always work the way we think it will.

You may be in for a surprise one day.

Good Luck, I guess.

According to Texas State Law my parents owe me child support for the rest of my life if the court orders it because I am disabled and will never able to support myself. Although you are technically not wrong, you still don't seem to think these things all the way through. First, the court has to ac...

Once you turned 18, your parents no longer had any obligation to you beyond any moral obligation they choose to accept, and if you're gonna invoke the bible to claim that they have a duty to support you, I would remind you that the bible is very clear that the father rules over the son, and even god...

I'm reminded of something I once heard said. Words to the effect of "men who aren't evil know that the phrase 'men are evil' doesn't apply to them". I am single. Ain't found the right lady yet. Being a heathen liberal in the deep south doesn't help. I tend to take some things for granted, ...

I think the division caused by the meme is disheartening to say the least. People seem quick to take offense rather than listen to the concerns made by many women. It’s a hard topic to address if people are going to be so easily bent out of shape over it. That happens a lot when women share their e...

I dont owe my parents anything except respect and obedience. From the sound if things, you don't even give them that. You neither sound like you respect them from the way you whine about them, nor do you seem to obey them very well. That's literally the reason you "might get kicked out", ...

Very few people can legitimately claim that they don't owe their parents anything. People who live off of their parents well into adulthood have no business making such claims.

@ Texasmoneyman You keep referring to a "life savings", but I seem to recall you've never really worked. I also recall you mentioning a trust fund or inheritance in the past. When you say your parents took your "life savings", do you actually mean they took away your trust fund?...

Who knows what I'd do? I've only ever witnessed one assault in my life, which was on a male hippie. I was about to wade in, and my girlfriend physically dragged me away. She said the bully would have just assaulted me too. I remonstrated with her for a while. It's a sad fact of life that it's wise ...

Yes... the irritation being expressed is a result of emotional baiting, and not an actual problem that people actually face, like being assaulted... that's totally what's going on... The fact that people refer to "treating women better" as a "wish" rather than a goal or an...

Leaving aside the obvious flaws in the "self-defense" suggestion (not everyone is capable of fighting, not all situations are fair, self defense takes years to learn and doesn't always work, even being a ninja master can't save you from being drugged, or ambushed with a knife or gun)... DA...

Ditch the arrogance.  No one was offended.  Women are rarely interested in men who display any form of arrogance or entitlement, unless those men are exceptionally famous, influential, and/or wealthy.

Ok boomer

This attitude of yours ain't doing you any favors.

We do have hard wired social responses. Or at least most humans do. No we don't. No such thing :wtg: Humans are not hardwired like that. Not even NTs. This is demonstrated extensively by the fact that feral children don't spontaneously manifest social skills once they're introduced to society, ethn...

I think I'd rather continue to reiterate that social skills are in fact learned, that even NTs make social mistakes, and that learning social skills takes ongoing practice and experience, well-beyond what is even possible strictly during therapy sessions alone, regardless of whether you're NT, autis...

Not because he is suggesting you can learn social cues. Like others have said, as an autistic person, I can learn them. But it's always going to be a learned response. NTs know social cues instinctively. No matter how well I learn them, I'm still going to get them wrong from time to time, and ident...
