When I was younger I used to think of myself as chaotic neutral. To this day when people tell me I am a good person I question this. I don't know for me if it is the depression or the asperger's that makes me feel like life is a penance. Perception is the only reality you and I have to go on. If you...

A tablespoon of Ayn Rand with a heaping pile of Michael Savage anyone? It's kind of scary but I actually see some truisms on this post of course racism is just a red herring and has nothing to due with conforming and dumbing down people. Sure you can argue that affirmative action and hate crimes are...

Sounds like Gulliver's Travels part two. I wonder what would have happened if an arsonsist set fire on his home purposely? Would the fire fighters try to save the evidence or let that go up in flames too? What ever happened to tax paid services? They are still paying taxes in that part of the countr...

You always have to question why someone posts what they post. I usually end up with two motives in mind for the the suicide postings I see online. The first being that the poster is young and very upset about something that probably happened in their lives very recently. If I was being really critic...

Maybe you are giving some people an "expert" vibe in which you are saying all this trivia about the musican or what the song means blah blah blah and this is causing those around you to want to compete with you by stating their own knowledge. If these battles of wit make you feel inferior stop engag...

[quote]Screw 'save the whales', I say 'save the Americans' because we're committing suicide between bad economic policy and the various nation building abroad and the newly brewing trade war with China. Obsession over animal welfare is a luxury cause. Spoken like a true red neck  It's not a lux...

I recommend getting a pet such as a cat or dog. I almost died the other day as I had to give up my pet. If you need affection or just someone to greet you at the door on a daily basis there is nothing better. Also the pet can sleep by you and you wouldn't feel so alone. You could mother it and this ...

You have to take into account this person's age. At 17 you probably have the biggest pool of candidates availible in your lifetime. I dont think acknowledging this fact is ugly. At times I wished I was 17 not because physically I was better looking (although it certainly helped) but because everyone...

[Do what you can to improve your appearance as well. Start with posting a regular photo of Yourself on hotornot.com to get a baseline idea of what you are working with and then take photos and post them as you improve your wardrobe (clothes you wear daily) and lose weight (can be done by eating 120...

Non profit orgs or government services are probably your best best if you want some meaning behind the work. I hate office work in general also but cleaning bores me to death if I do it longer six months. Its hard to both find a job and yet at the same time find interests in your life that are marke...

Would buy more of her music if she wasn't so expensive. Enjoy the songs Shalott, Misery Loves Company, and Got Help Me. After I work out I find her voice and the tempo of her music very soothing. Anyone listen to Mary Timony I like her sound too.

Haven't read the book but just like I don't mix my soda with my booze so too I don't mix religion with science. Maybe Hawkings is just sick of people coming up to him and saying God created the universe. What does it matter to Hawking's research? He isn't studying God. Yes it's probably arrogant but...

Are your friends asking these questions or people you just happen to have to be around at any given moment? I notice that friends tend to get my moods and don't ask me how or what I am doing if I am depressed but my relatives will ask me the same stupid questions every year at stupid parties. Alas p...
