I do think the day-to-day reality is being swept under the carpet by some people in the autistic community, in denial about what it's really like for the majority. I use to be one of them. For which I can only apologize publicly.

I think the 99.8% percentile intelligence thing, is going to make things seem a little screwy. It's not difficult to track the real location down. Why doesn't someone invite him over? If he's not having "Hitting People" issues, that is.

ah, but we live in a multi-demensional continuum. so who knows? I wonder if Professor Simply Double-Barrelled will be there? #2 of the positives of autism is the lack of shame of social disapproval; at public meetings this leads to things being said, that must be said. There's a battle to save lives...
