Welcome Robert. I've read your other post and I have a quick suggestion...if you haven't already, please consider calling the Washington Society of CPAs and find out what the educational requirments are there to sit for the CPA exam...it varies by state. If I may be so bold as to offer a suggestion?...

I'm a mostly NT mom. My ex- sounds a lot like yours (with the controling and boarderline behavior) but he doesn't drink. The first five years we were separated was hell. I was consantly told everything was my fault. That our children were "normal" and I was seeing problems that didn't exist, or some...

I agree with Ster that further examination is in order. And I can't tell you the number of times I've heard "oh, its normal" only to find out later that it wasn't.

If you are comfortable telling us your general location, people might have specific suggestions for your next step.

The Special Education Coordinator should have jumped on the request. I hope the fact that s/he didn't isn't an omen. If you put the request in writing, that starts a clock on the school. State laws vary as to the amount of time they then have (30 to 90 SCHOOL days is normal). The request does not ha...

I know you like Calvy and Hobb'y and they remind me of you. You are fun and imaginative in person. I wouldn't have thought of this but its very true. Louis. you remind of of Calvin AND Hobbs in person....ie you are extremely clever and playful (Calvin) and often you will take situations up to the s...

Hi, GH. It was nice seeing you yesterday. Is the fewer visits your idea or Dr. Luskins? She seems to know what she is doing. I'm sorry you are so lonely but glad that you are having some luck in finding outlets for yourself such as the Christian Art House and busses that lead to new findings. I thin...

Welcome Dr. Spang. I recently helped a 40 year old man get diagnoised and services in Minneapolis. It took almost a year. I am not sure I could have done it long distance. Perhaps your journey will go easier. There are two places I would suggest you contact, the Health and Human Services Dept of the...

Interesting thread, sc. I'm glad you started it. Louis, As you know, the Autism Society you and Ghosthunter go to is in a very out of the way place. I assumed it was because of cheap rent but you may have listed another important reason....ain't nobody going there by accident. Near there, on Univers...

There's a lot of irony in a thread complaining of censorship being so heavily censored.

I don't know wiether to laugh or cry.

Paula, I don't think people care if Dan and Alex make money. Heck, I did contribute and I feel a reasonable amount for Alex's time makes perfect sense. People care becuase Alex has said some things about money that didn't make any sense. They felt used and lied to. That's why this money issue just w...
