God Issy that sounds hellish. I'm so sorry. Can they not give her anything to calm her down a bit if the surgery isn't very imminent? I think pain meds at high dosages causing hallucinations isn't uncommon but it can't be good for her to be getting so confused and distressed about what is happening ... |

If you were recruited to help make a socially important film, would you say yes regardless of subject matter of the film? If I thought it was socially important I feel like I'd probably be on board with the subject matter, wouldn't I?. Or do you mean that the subject matter might be contentious and... |

I very rarely read walls of texts me Me neither. Walls of text are really annoying and no one should bother reading them. If you can't say it in five monosyllabic words and an emoticon then you're not trying hard enough, I always say. People who waffle on and on and on and on and on and on and on a... |

^Nah, we're not going out in a pretty, quick firework display.
It's going to be long, slow and brutal for us. |

Bluebells when they've gone over make the woods smell like cat pee. It's gross for a week or so. |

Pretty sure we still have at least 3 of those little peeps. Never had the house. Don't recognise the lady with the white hair but the other 3 are definitely around somewhere. |

This is the inevitable fate of closets under stairs when there are no longer children to enjoy them. That one hits hard. I like my living room because it has my record player and good speakers and my TV and my guitars and some books and my reclining armchair and usually a dog or two. It could... |

I'm in the US - yeah they never really caught on here. I did end up buying a portable player / recorder at some point, I think it was from Pioneer - I was very gung-ho about being able to record my own stuff and play it on something relatively small - CD burners were still expensive back then and p... |

I'm sure I'll think of some specific ones at some point but... You can argue that the romantic myth that forms the backbone of almost all romantic films is toxic. The idea that there is someone 'meant' for you, or that there is a 'one' that's right for you. Also the structure is often inherently tox... |

Yep. I'm much less verbose in real life. I know plenty of words and I can use them quite comfortably when writing but anxiety shuts down all that and I don't speak much and if I do, it's much simpler. I don't know if my thinking becomes more visual though. I'm just kind of...blank. It's not like I'm... |
