I'm 17 (well, 18 in about a week) and half-madly in love with a girl--half-madly because the "over-the-moon-and-stars" passion has died down (it's still there, but dormant), but still an intense loving friendship. I've loved her for two years now, and have though three different relationships of her... |

Compact Discs (and all digital audio, for that matter) is simply magical. How can a coded series of ones and zeroes make beautiful music? |

The math and science kids (I go to a math and science school, what do you expect?) who aren't as nerdy and MUCH more fun than they sound, and the drama kids, who are the most amazing, fun, accepting people I have ever known. |

Keeping a conversation going is, for me, not hard at all. It's starting one, or restarting one after the thread of conversation reaches an end, that's the tough part. Usually I acknowledge the fact, and whomever I was talking to and I laugh about it, and a conversation starts from there. Of course, ... |

-It is not big enough for my purposes.
-....It really needs to be cleaned. |

You shouldn't be. I'm not. I'm an aspie too, but verrrry borderline--so much so that I can usually pass as merely eccentric. Emotion oftentimes is dominant over logic for me, for better or worse. And there's no shame in that, really--sometimes being more emotional is better than being more logical (... |

I intend to major in electrical engineering... I'm not worried about being employable! But a double major in theater is REALLY appealing to me at the moment. +1 on the stage buzz, coppeliaflower... there's just something about being on the stage, in front of an audience, under those hot light... |

I've no clue, but I'm sure it's not an insult to autistics.
It's actually a rather interesting turn of phrase in my opinion because it's so strange.
Ohbytheway, how's the book? |

Recently I was able to join the school drama club (the few, the proud... all fifteen (or so) of us.) I remember the first time I stepped out onto the stage. It felt... right somehow. Like I was meant to be there. And I must have been, because on my first audition I got four (four!) roles in our prod... |

OhGodhowdidImissthisthread!! Photography is one of my favorites... more specifically, everything Pentax, from the 1950s originals, to the BEAUTIFUL mechanical bodies of the 60s and 70s, and the plastic electronic wunderkameras from the '80s and '90s. Oh, and digital too (just got my first DSLR, used... |

I'm extra-high-functioning-to-the-point-of-looking-like-just-an-eccentric too. Basically my symptoms are limited to really bad organization (my room looks like hell/a bomb went off), relatively poor fashion sense (steadily improving), poor short term memory (related to organization), and some social... |
