I think most people really don't care whether they do a good job. They go to college to get a job (and probably party and come to class hung over the next day) then just do what they have to at work to get a paycheck. I don't think doctors are any different. You go to 3 different doctors, you're lik... |

Ah, the IQ defense. I'm sorry but I find that funny Laughing Are you implying race equals intelligence? you're assuming race equals intelligence when you're not factoring in GENERATIONAL poverty as a contributor to low IQ scores as well as cultural bias in IQ testing, which can NEVER be totally tak... |

gwenevyn, thanks for explaining it to me. I was confused because I just assumed it only has one meaning and didn't even think its meaning is different depending on the situation. It makes sense now. |

I hate car commercials where they shout at you the whole time. I found a really annoying commercial on YouTube with a single father who brings a little kid to the grocery store who screams and throws food off the shelves. Then at the end it says "use condoms" I don't like the message either. Here's ... |

It sucks. It's not that I hate myself. It's just hard being different. If everyone was autistic, I think I would be fine. I feel like it's somewhat similar to being a minority and living in a neighborhood with a bunch of racist people. I don't think neurotypicals are really intolerant. I think most ... |

Sorry I posted the link for autism in my last post. Here's the one for Asperger's syndrome: http://www.autism.com/treatable/biomed/ARI_TreatmentRatings_AspergerSyndrome_February2007.pdf Since you got worse quickly, there may be a medical reason for it. Antibiotics made me worse. Also, oral steroids ... |

It began few months ago. Before that, I could start conversations whenever I wanted, I had no problems in joining a group of people etc., but now... I just can't! I've started no conversations in long time, because I don't know what to say. Small talk about weather and stuff feels more useless than... |

Im kinda of extreme I would want them to try to make a full blown cure that can make me think more like NT so I dont have such low self-esteem and making friends problems, which i would use for myself, not happy being depressed and having trouble fitting in everywhere The Autism Research Institute ... |

It takes me awhile too which is why I prefer writing since I can take time to think. Talking is more difficult because I don't have as much time to think. And I've always had more trouble talking about feelings and emotions. I think it's part of AS. |

Thanks for helping me out. I'm still a little confused why someone would say "what's up" after someone tells them "what's up" Wouldn't that be like telling someone "how are you?" after they asked "how are you?" without telling them you're doing fine? mirandao, I noticed you just signed up. Welcome t... |

PC, on the other hand, tries to keep racist, sexist, homophobic jerkwads from denying people work, shelter, and a decent life, just because they happen to be the wrong sex, color, etc. The one company I used to work for got rid of a bunch of white workers and hired all black and hispanic workers to... |

Someone asked me, "What's up?" I looked up but didn't see anything. I said to him "I don't know. I don't see anything." and he walked away. What's up with that? Seriously, that's how I responded the first time someone said "What's up?" Now I know it's a greeting, but what exactly does it mean? I mea... |

With some people who are really annoying, I just tell them what I think and don't care whether it is nice. If it's someone I'd consider being friends with, I'll be nice even if I don't like what they say. Sometimes it's hard for me to tell other peoples intentions. When I was at the airport the othe... |

People need to mind their own business and stop trying to control our lives. Regarding smoking in Britain, I believe everyone who pays taxes is forced to buy government healthcare so smoking affects everyone when taxpayers are forced to pay the bill when smokers need treatment for lung cancer, emphy... |
