Now there - I have alays felt I frequency shifted or something. The blackboard thing - nothing. Styrofoam squeat - nothing. Both stupid noises, but not an issue. I put all of mine into nailfiles, rasps, the sweep of a finger across a corrugated guitar string.

Ha, those things all get me too.

For the conservative intolerance side, I had a Republican woman once tell me she would only make an exception for abortion in the case of a Down's Syndrome or autistic child - and then told me she would have had me "terminated." Wow. Just...wow. How do you even respond to that? "Lucky for me, my pa...

Sophia Lamb from Bioshock 2. For some reason, Andrew Ryan never pissed me off as much as she did. I think it's because I really started thinking of Eleanor as my daughter. I wrote Sophia Lamb earlier aswell, I guess it might be that despite having colectivist ideals, she thought too highly of herse...

I found it. This site says that there are 3 Asperger's subtypes, "logic boy" being one of them: http://www.myaspergerschild.com/2009/12/aspergers-subtypes-rule-boy-logic-boy.html "Rule boy" subtype matches me better. I need rules for everything. I didn't always question things, although with some t...

Chill out, guys 8) This is such an utterly subjective issue. I will suggest a compromise: Keep the original versions of the movie available for those of us who enjoy the subtext etc. we feel is present, but also allow for the creation of updated versions for those who enjoy the benefits they see in ...

Updating movies or works of art to accommodate new technology, such as color, is not bad - I simply think it is important then that the original is still available. :) I do think in some situations black and white really do fit the mood of a movie better, especially since the directors and cinematog...

“Evan couldn’t talk — now he talks. Evan couldn’t make eye contact — now he makes eye contact" This phrase intrigues me . Why is Evan never heard or seen in public. If my child had a miraculus improvement from his ASD and I was the 'unofficial spokes person for an ASD cure' with books and a charity...

Hey folks, This article is hate mongering...you know Beck got in big trouble, finally, for his hate mongering. But I dont think most people would see it as hate mongering because we are not a racial group but a "disability" just "lacking theory of mind" But either way, here is a cut and paste from ...

He sounds like me at that age - but if he witnessed something very bad, it could also easily be an expression of PTSD. What's wrong with parched? If the word fits the situation, you should be happy he has a grasp on vocabulary, as long as he's not doing it to make you feel inferior. Which I doubt he...

Really?

I love how the female reporter worries that she might have to give up her hair spray and make-up "which we all use".

I laughed at that too. I suppose I fail at being a woman.

Data, though I love Spock also. I just empathize more with Data's quest to be 'a real boy.' I feel like that a lot. Spock is the epitome of Teh Awesome. Mostly because his Mirror Universe counterpart had a Beard Of Evil. An evil Data just couldn't compete with that :) That's true. Does anyone rememb...

The Virginia Tech Review Panel report dismissed an autism diagnosis and experts later doubted the autism claim." It is hi...
