After more than three decades in professional industry, what I tell the well-meaning people who want to coach me is: "Coaching cannot cure autism. If it could, it surely would have by now." My advice is to work as hard as you can to blunt the sharp edges of the behaviors that are most lik...

Update again… I met my job coach in January she is awesome and super helpful. The job search has been a lot less stressful with the help of DVRS. My counselor and coach are both great I’m so thankful for them. I was really nervous at first and didn’t know if I could trust them but it turned out bett...

I never felt fatigued in this way until recently. I would need to lay down in a quiet room to decompress afterwards but never felt extremely tired afterwards similarly to how I feel at bedtime.

I’m curious if any others with moderate to severe meltdowns and shutdowns experience extreme tiredness afterwards. I’ve had meltdowns and shutdowns my whole life but recently after turning 36 I’ve noticed I’m way more tired even after mini meltdowns. I usually have meltdowns more than once a week.

That’s understandable I don’t think I could watch any of it if I experienced anything similar to what I’m watching. I always cry during victim impact statements it’s really sad. That’s why I usually just watch the actual trial because the dramatization in shows is too graphic. I just wish I would ha...

I personally went for a professional assessment because I’ve been unable to hold down employment for the past 22 years. I need assistance and accommodation at work and you can’t ask for those things without an official diagnosis. It’s really a personal choice. I likely wouldn’t seek a professional a...

I'll be blunt here. I have two theories about this. Theory one is that he is completely clueless about boundaries with women friends & he is incapable of understanding your side. Theory two is that he is wanting to cheat on you with them or considering leaving you for them. Either case you have...

I recently read that women have had success in combating PMDD with over the counter allergy meds such as Claritin or Allegra. It’s all over Reddit. I think I might try it. Has anyone else tried this?

These are all recent homicide cases from the United States. I watched Masterminds it was very interesting. I think I watched all the episodes in like two days. I agree with you on criminalization of drugs, it doesn’t help. The criminal system is pretty broken in the U.S. but I doubt it will ever cha...

Does any have a strong interest in criminal trials? Just wanted to start a thread if anyone wants to chat about it. A lot of guilty verdicts lately with the eyedrops trial, the yoga lady, and Charlie Adeleson. I was so happy Donna Adeleson got arrested at the airport! I wonder if she’ll plead not gu...

It sounds to me that he could potentially want to break up and is hoping you’ll break up with him over this because him being the one to call the breakup is too stressful. I suggest giving him some space and see where it goes from there.
