I don't understand. You obsess over it but you also forget? I obsess as a way to keep from forgetting when I can't get to it immediately, which some people in my family seem to find annoying. 1. Write it down, or better yet, type it into a calendar app with reminders so you know when help is coming...

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, but the other racers are all controlled by AI (and they usually cheat).

I mean, they don't specify how the other characters are controlled in a 1-person game, as opposed to 2-person.

Either make a note of what you need help with that is still pending or become more self-sufficient...or both

What does it mean to be more self-sufficient? Are you saying I should do everything on my own without help?

^ Yeah. Just because someone doesn't agree with your ideas, that doesn't mean that there's something wrong with your ideas. It's okay if people don't always see eye to eye on things. It's gonna happen and it's okay so long people are being civil and respectful about it. As for how to share your ide...

One reason I'm hesitant to share my ideas is that I'm afraid they will be criticized or otherwise disagreed with. If they are disagreed with, that must means there's something wrong with my ideas. How can I share my ideas without such fears? People can disagree about anything these days. Someone di...

I often need help with something and I usually want it taken care of quickly without delay, partly so I won't forget about it later. However, help is not always quick in coming, which means I'm forced to wait for it, so that it can be done on someone else's time. The problem with that is that I'm wo...

Why then does, say, "Out-Run" have other cars on the road, as though you need to beat them? Or are they just obstacles meant only to get in your way? In Out Run, yes. None of the other cars are racing, they're just obstacles. If time runs out before you get to the finish line, you get a g...

I was just on Archive.org, and I noticed that it suddenly got shut down "temporarily", with the only means of accessing updates being via Twitter. I don't have a Twitter account, nor do I ever intend to, so I can't follow along with updates,, but I'm worried that Archive.org may never come...

Isn't it an oxymoron to "agree to disagree"? If we disagree, not agree, on anything, things would never get done. By agreeing to disagree, the participants are allowed to share their views without fear of abuse or violence.  This is especially important in committees, where many issues ma...

I personally don't have a pet, but I've received a petition from Care2 (which means it probably won't get much traction) that demands that for the good of all pets and all animals, to stop the sales of all Fourth of July fireworks to consumers, which is totally legal in literally every state, save f...

People don't want to watch a "scripted" show, they find "reality" to be much more tantalizing, so a show termed as a "reality show" will pull them in. IDK how to explain it better. People are "mindless", and the companies et al that produce these shows know t...

I think maybe what you're getting at is that "You do you" feels dismissive and condescending to you. I don't think that's how it's usually intended, but it could be used that way, and maybe it's true people are dismissing you and condescending to you, but, although it can hurt, it's okay....

Why is it that some fiction writers will make up a location for the setting instead of setting it in a real city? Is it that if it is set in a real city, then they must make it as accurate as possible?

But I am guessing that you dont understand why folks say "you do you" or "whatever floats your boat" instead of saying "WOW that would be a great idea!". That's what I was kind of hoping for, a compliment of that nature. But my guess is...that they are just being polit...
