I had a teacher that loves to take questions that he has explained explicitly in class (i.e. the way I have learned them) then place new criteria in them and twist them so far outside of the original problem that they are new questions.... My LD is this... I see the information for the original prob...

"WTF do you think?") with a stupid grin on my face and get them to laugh. to the cr...

I got scuba certified out in hawaii. I had two issues, one was I couldn't get myself stabilized (I would sink or float, there was no in between). The other was that out in hawaii the water looks so clear that the bottom looks only 5 feet away, then when you get in the bottom is actually about 40 fee...

OK..... I am going to try the teach gently request.... So while ignoring the emotions that the little girl's soccer story brings, I will put my "two cents in." The earplug/pain issue has already been addressed to a fair extent, so I am skipping that part. What I am surprised to see is that no one ha...

I've worked retail now for almost 4 years (two different stores) The OP has some very good points. Most retail stores will train you how to act towards customers. It also gives a high volume of "greeting" type conversations, So I have gotten fairly good at "hello how are you today?" lines. It takes ...

OK.... To begin with I've been working retail (clothing) for the past 2 years (almost) The only good part of this job is the merchandising of new product. Otherwise I have to deal with random irate customers, smile like I like them, clean up after idiots who throw things on the ground, and be on my ...

So I learned not to speak about anything that is remotely interesting to me to anyone that I ever want to speak to again, be...
