| @ Denver Dave - I have tried speaking with him numerous times when he is calm. He often says it wouldn't bother him. Sometimes he has difficulty seeing other peoples point of view. Kind of like.. | Hello again, I tried the non-med route for years. We then tried several non-stimulant and stimulant meds...nothing worked. He has also been in therapy for quite some time. We also lead a pretty active lifestyle...hiking, running, we even cycled 100 miles in 4 days. I try to expose him to healthy act... |

| Hi bjtao and chronos, I did speak to his psychiatrist about it. She thinks it has to do with all of his excess energy. My son's IEP was granted in Maryland, but we may be moving to New Mexico. Do we have to go through the whole process again, or will all his accommodations carry over?

I will say, when I was 12 (and I realize your son has a two year difference from then) I was very frustrated with math and science in 6th grade.
