I love the fact that you are mad they called you ignorant and not at all upset they called you a b***h. That cracks me up. I am so beyond sick of being called a b***h that ignorant would be a nice change.
I never thought of it that way! I've been the b-word so many times in my l...

Just wanted to get this off my chest, I'm not sure if I was being ignorant or not to be honest, personally I just thought I was standing up for myself!! I was walking through town yesterday, I heard someone walking behind me who kept shouting, "Excuse me! Excuse me!" I tried to ignore him at first (...

I once read on this forum that the more we try to act 'normal' the weirder we seem, because others can see what we're doing is an act and can misinterpret our behaviour as being shifty or suspicious, I've thought a lot about that comment since I read it months ago, and I think it's actually true.......

I once worked full-time as a bus driver, but I was getting migraines so bad from the stress that I was literally collapsing, so I wasn't really able to do that anymore.... Have had a few jobs over the last 13 years; postie, herb packer, and janitor, but I just can't seem to get a job at the moment.....

I wonder if a person's gender has any effect on results or not. Anyway here's mine: For the test comparing face parts or whole faces, you had a score of 79.2% correct on this test. Based on the results we have so far, the average person who takes this test scores 73% correct. You had a whole advanta...

I was diagnosed with mild Aspergers, my psychologist's biggest issue in diagnosing me was apparently that I'm not like any other ASD/AS person she has ever met before, but having said that she was easily able to 'tick all the boxes' on the DSM-IV... (I'm going to assume it was because I am female, l...

Yeah, I'm well aware. Just joining in the wishing aloud. Sorry for disturbing the thread. No need to apologise 8) My wish list was rather pie-in-the-sky in the first place but there's no law against wanting. And it's so illogical of the benefits people to pretend AS doesn't exist......sure, they sa...

I've had nothing but positive benefits from my contact with the NAS! My first contact with them was to find out about the social groups they run and whether or not I could join one/if there was one in my area. There is a group right here in my city, I joined up and it's been brilliant!! There's a wh...

I forgot to post the link I was talking about earlier! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8580936.stm Anyway, as far as government statistics go, anyone kicked off benefits doesn't count on the statistics anymore, same with if you're on JSA and get sent on the stupid mandatory courses, again whilst atten...

I'm currently mid-appeal for the SECOND time, I'm apparently still getting old old incapacity benefit, and I got 6/10 points (they use 10, not 15) but the answers ticked were just mad, for example, it says on the form I am able to answer the phone (which I don't!) and even worse it says I have no pr...

Well, I must be odd too then! :D When I was 3 I used to talk to the rain as it splattered against my windows, such a tickly, pleasant sound, I loved listening to the rain, the sound it makes when it rains at night and the rain makes places echo, you can almost see the spaces it's falling in from the...
