Cds make a better 'doink' sound? What the hell does that mean?
I guess soy burgers make a better "smush" sound, so they must be better than steak. |

I can tell you that was no accident. Every sound and image is carefully vetted. Fox News is notorious for subliminal crap like this. Many times they have erroneously identified a minor politicitian involved in a scandal as (D)...democrat... when in fact he/she was a republican. Sloppy typo on the ne... |

The finite "o" and '1's are no match for the infinite vibration patterns of vinyl. Again, we have willfully surrendured quality for convenience. originally, Cds cost $2 less per disc to produce than vinyl records and the public was promised a better music delivery system for a lower cost. But the st... |

you look fine. A bit sad, expression-wise. And the inner self has the most impact on the outer perception. Think of something that makes you happy (your cupcakes?) and smile and take another picture that way. it will make a dramtic difference. |

Marriage and family is a big trade off. Yes, it is easy and comfortable to live alone and everything stays as you left them. But...you are lonely. You feel like a piece is missing from your world. So, that will not go away. Realize that even the best of relationships require work (on both sides). Bu... |

Empathy is sometimes more than wanting to help when you see someone crying. It is being able to emotionally relate to another's situation. If you have a friend who lost a family member (they died), and you had lost someone in your family (grandparent, etc) once, empathy is understanding the feelings... |

Hi lauren. Who is it that you aregoing to speak with to see if you have AS? I think if you read many of the other blogs on this site, you will either recognize yourself in them , or not. Mainly, if the majority of other people seem strange to you in their actions and reactions (not logical or consis... |

Are we referring to the AS lawyer portrayed on Boston Legal? The blonde guy whose name I cannot recall.
Personally, I don't think they have that character right. The writers don't seem to grasp AS (and its traits) accurately enough.
Any other people agree or disagree with me? |

Bad!! ) you're micky dolenz! you're the funny and lovable one. cute and adorable, you supply the comic relief ... |

It is tough enough for even us NTs to date. Very few Brad Pitts and George Clooney's are we. I know how more difficult it can be when you are not natural with emotional signals. Women are a mystery to guys in the best of situations. But, to an Aspie, it can seem like being the only blind guy in room... |

A simple reason: people are normally attracted to the opposite sex because they want what they do not have. That is...we men like soft skin and curves and boobs, etc, because we don't have them (if we did, we would stay home and play with ourselves 24/7) . People are bi for 2 reasons: 1. They are cr... |

Here we go. Doesn't matter how much you clearly state your mind is made up, someone has to try and talk you out if it "for the sake of the unborn". Leah, you do what YOU feel is best. It sounds like your main issue is the fear of being out of control. understandable. No one likes that. Knowledge is ... |

Ok...my brain is starting to hurt, now. How about a scale of 1 to 10? 1= You like salt on your ham and you have no rhythm, but otherwise you are indestinguishable from the majority. 10= You are a full-blown out Einstein, own 7 of the same outfit and stands in closets for lengthy periods to clear you... |

After reading extensively about the case and Hans' behavior, I have to say (from the standpoint of an NT who is intimately familiar with AS) that I beleive Hans Reiser has Aspergers, but is also guilty. His actions and reactions are textbook AS---but in the context of an AS individual trying to hide... |
