Try this technique out: The first time, read it quick. It will do two things, I find reading quickly actually helps with comprehension. And secondly you can filter the important stuff. And then with the 2nd pass you wont waste time on the unnecessary stuff and it will reinforce the material. This is...

use it as practice until you can be with the one you want? I cant say its good advice, just maybe something to think about. I have no relationship experience. Do have some experience in trying to woo girls and failing miserably. But they were all the wrong ones for me. Looking back at it, if I didnt...

My point was that feeling "all negative" about your flaws won't change a thing. Everybody has them, and at least accepting that you're going to have some makes things easier. If an individual refuses to accept him/herself, then they can always aim to better themselves instead. oh i got no flaws. :D...

How does one go about accepting themselves in a world full of NT's. I've been successful figuring out ways to be happy with myself and my life, but because of constant reminders of what I lack (mainly from being autistic) those good times don't last for long. What have you guys done to accept yourse...

And remember, its not always you. Know what Im saying? And sometimes, when it comes to not being able to make friends, its helps to say "f**k 'em." Not in a angry bitter way but in a "who cares, its not the end of the world." way. The worst thing you can do is be desperate. Desperation is one hell o...

Its ok, just keep moving forward. I've learned, you gotta keep moving in life. Like you said, you've made friends before so you can do it again. One of the things we do best as aspies, is learn. So learn from your experiences, use your own intelligence and keep at it. And for that, you are not a fool.

"You're probably just over-thinking things, if you relax things will get better. " Gee, why didn't I think of that during my 23 years of being a social misfit, after my hours and hours of cognitive behavior therapy, support groups and reading self-help books? Who knew all that time I was just think...

<--- NEVER been called cute. :( That's a good thing. It's a brush-off command in the best case, and a suggestion of moving into the friendzone in the worst. Cause a woman wanting you to be her friend is like so terrible. When you are in love with a woman and you want to hold her and touch her...
