Epic facepalm. Well, it's good to know that even if most Americans don't know anything about politics that they're still willing to vote Obama :)

Beauty is an entirely subjective thing. I find most supermodel-types to be pretty repellant to be honest. But for a start: 1) How is it an 'unattainable standard of beauty', if the girls photographed are real? Clearly they've attained it, so theoretically, what's to stop anybody else looking that 'b...

Although this is by no means a definitive answer, most of the music I like, be it from whatever genre (from your account, that would make me into almost every single 'aspie' genre of music in some respect :? ), I much prefer music that has definite structure. I find that most of the genres you talk ...

Just... WOW. I love that. Absolutely love it. Do you ever plan on making any proper sound recordings out of that? Those are just the sort of crazy, glitchy. beautiful noises that I adore!

My one tip would be to ditch the 505 pedal. I've recorded with that thing and it's cheap and nasty and just sounds horrible. I can't imagine there was much more used than what has been said, apart from maybe a distortion pedal of some kind, but wouldn't like to say which. Apart from that, you can ne...

Yeah, I would agree that's true to a certain extent, but most feelings are selfish in one way or another. Even altruism stems from the need to satisfy a desire to do what you would consider to be right, which in a way is selfish. I think the examples that Morgana posted aren't by any means universal...

Edit: PS, I'm a straight male.

I'll bet. But I don't care. You have to admit that, as a computer science/electrical engineering/applied math student, his music will make a great soundtrack for everything that I do in the future. Now are you done wasting our time, or do you think you're actually going to accomplish something by b...

Well, no, not this time lol. Think about it though, with quantum computing around the bend, machines will become infinitely more powerful than the human brain. One day they might begin to think of us as misquitoes... You see the implications don't you?... Indeed [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watc...
