I got the paperwork for doing an assessment here in Ireland - and it runs to €700 (US$1,000) for the first consult!

Does anyone know of a cheaped route to get an assessment/diagnosis?

Paying restitution for something that happened over 200 years ago is probably a bad idea ... who would pay? who would be paid? In Africa itself, the most common slavers were Africans. It was common practice that when two tribes went to war, anyone captures as what we would now consider a PoW, or a c...

Why was America targeted, rather than Britain or France ?
Why were the twin towers targeted ?
Why did those particular arabs decide it was a good idea ?
I could list a million "Why?" questions ... none of which are an answer on their own. That is why I say that the CAUSE of 9/11 is complex.

the term "cause" does not mean the same as "carry out"

Al-Quaeda carried out the 9/11 attack

What caused it is a much more complex geo-polictical confluence of socio-political factors.

So ... the "Who" was Al-Quaeda
the "Why" is far more complex

I don't know if this helps or not, but here goes ... I don't personally like porn, but if a girl friend started demanding to see my internet history or started taking my phone to look at who I'd been calling/texting ... that would be (and HAS been) the end of the relationship. Many men (and women) e...

I don't know what 'she' is actually looking for, but keep in mind that based on your jurisdiction, at least in the usa, doing anything with someone who is 17 puts you into 'sex offender' land. And police do use entrapment. And aspies do tend to be trusting... Just a thought. And if you're all so ga...

Stop hyperventilating. In fifteen years of use by millions of people, Ecstasy hasn't killed a single user, unlike alcohol, tobacco or just about any other drug. In a recent study by the Science Select Committee which advises the British government on drug issues, Ecstasy was found to be the third-l...

The article also states that the father took most of the responsibility for caring for the child, particularly everything relating to the poor child's ill health. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of action - I hope that if she is found "not guilty by reason of diminished responsibility" t...
