It could mean they don't expect you to understand their job title.
Or it could mean that they know that jobs in finance arent renowned for being exciting, and they'd rather not go into too much detail, and they think you were probably only asking out of politeness anyway.

I once played a neat game called Xor round a friend's house. It was on an old Basic computer. Each level was just a set of logic puzzles, but I thought it was great.
I try searching for info about it online and all I get is a load of stuff about Xor logic gates.
