My current major is Physics, and I am debating whether to add another major in either Philosophy, or Mathematics. I enjoy both very much, so it is definitely a difficult decision.

(Currently, it looks like Philosophy is taking the lead. :D)

Hello, WrongPlanet! I have a question that I have been trying to answer myself, even with the help of the internet, I cannot come up with a good definition of what detail oriented thinking is. I have come across a lot of literature saying that people on the spectrum, in general, are detail oriented ...

I believe I am engrossed in the details, more so than the bigger picture. (Could someone clarify what it means when someone says 'detail oriented', and 'seeing the big picture' that way I can double check the way my brain works. Thanks. :) )

Hello, WrongPlanet. I took Adderall for the first time yesterday, 20 mg, and I was curious if the effects that I felt were normal for people with ADHD, or for people on the spectrum. I felt really lite; the only way I can describe it was like I was floating on a cloud. I also felt more need to socia...

Hello, I have a question regarding if anyone else on WrongPlanet experiences mental hyperactivity, and a question regarding what the phrased detail-orientated means. Before I got my diagnosis, my counselor at my college, who is diagnosed with ADD, noted that I see to display signs of mental hyperact...

You're cousin's money is the assistant manager? I believe you mean fiance. Good luck with that. If you're just taking care of stuff, it should be fairly easy to deal with. If you have to work the register... have someone tell me where and when to attend the funeral. :? I appreciate the fix; I was t...

I got a call from the assistant manager at a McDonald's, near me, today informing me that I got the job, and I have orientation on Monday at 4 p.m.. (But, I feel the only reason I got the job was because my cousin's fiance is the assistant manager.) I am pretty happy to have a job; I just hope I can...

They all did for me except the" misleading context" one ; this one didn't have a variation.

The other link with the rotational illusion didn't stop for me .

The rotational illusion one; the text did not stop for me either. :)

Thank you for all your response! :D I applied to a few other colleges, so I will see how it turns out with them, but I am thinking that I will attend Michigan Tech, but attempt to transfer to University of Michigan once more, at the end of this semester (for the Winter 2011). Just because I can, and...

Thanks for all the responses. I am a bit distraught/depressed about it; they said that because of the large number of qualified applicants, they had to consider my high school grades and test scores. :( I did absolutely atrocious in high school. @ Claradoom: I am not sure if I can do that in the Uni...
