I know these were already mentioned, but Robert Goren from Law and Order: Criminal Intent displays numerous AS traits. He is highly analytical, has numerous idiosyncratic interrogation and investigative techniques and his partner Eames even compares a suspect who does have Asperger's to him by sayin...

This is difficult for me to frame in writing, as it is primarily a sense linked to a series of events, not a discrete event. Prior to the past couple years, (albeit battling dysthymic disorder and low-grade depression) I had grown intellectually, being interested in a myriad number of topics (Latin ...

My IQ is only 150, so I'm not quite in your genius class. The result is from a Mensa test I took thirty years ago. I have no idea if it is the same now. The biggest frustration for me is not being able to communicate some of the things that I know because they exist as complex structures in my mind...

I love this show. I watched several on Discovery channel last year and was hooked, as ever since Beyind Belief went off the air, you just cant find a good spooky show. They have some of the freakiest effects ever and tend to make me jump in surprise when one of those shadowy shapes suddenly appears....

My mom bought this film and both her and myself thought that Weaver's performance was brilliant, but also that she seemed to have more autistic traits as well as possible co-morbidity of OCD.

Feh. Nothing to get in a debate over. I actually quit editing Wiki a while back because of stupid editors making up their own rules. That's why I distrust Wikipedia. I always check the facts from much more reputable sources before following them. The editing discussions can be stunningly idiotic as...

I printed this out a couple years ago and have found it to be spectacularly helpful in my social life. His comments about driving are very similar to my situation as well and have been invaluable with my learning the necessary skills. Still learning, but this really helped me identify my deficits.

I am a Aspie and I am having a difficult time finding a job. There have been times when potential employers have found out that I have Aspergers and denied me a job. Have you had a hard time finding a job or have been discriminated because you have Asperger. Has it been a difficulty keeping a job b...

I can relate to the dislike of socializing. We recently closed down our Bible Study on campus (active 6 years) because there were too many new ones starting up at our timeslot and the attendance was suffering. I was against the idea of closing down, but the rest of the group was for it and I had to ...
