Thanks. Yeah, I do have some supportive friends/family members. We're trying out they/them for now and see how that goes. I'm fairly hairy and have acne. I've had hair loss from medication too. I will look into it myself. I'm going to spend a few months exploring what it's like to be transgender, tr...

You can't really apply an 'all' label to people with autism. We're each very different. Yes, I'm very masculine for a female but I've met female aspies who are not.

I didn't realise I would have faced so much backlash over this. But that's Twitter for you I suppose. I see myself as trans male but I'm not sure if I'm more non-binary. I have known since I was five though, but because of a lot of discouragement, being urged to dress more like a girl and even adopt...

That's really disappointing. I've just accepted I am transgender and I was looking for a community to join. I came to Wrong Planet because it's been so helpful during the diagnosis process of my autism and was just such a great support network when the people I lived with either denied or downplayed...

Lol @ that statement.

Someone denied I was autistic because of the way I wrote. I'm a writer. I read loads of books and practice my writing style and I can even mimic my favourite authors perfectly. But when it comes to speech I just slur.

I told him to read up more on autism.

I think that when people see someone who is acting different due to autism, they don't think "Oh that guy must have autism" instead they think "Oh that guy's a tw@t" my advice is try to be a cool fun friendly person to make up for giving a bad impression, it's no one's fault, it...

I remember how it was living with a mother who did not take my autism seriously. There is a world out there that does care about autism. There's also a lot of people who don't. They don't care about anyone. But there are still many many people who are open minded. I became my own advocate because I ...

I think what's happening is we're seeing too much and can't filter out all that noise to notice people. Autism to me is that our senses are so bombarded that our brains have developed a coping mechanism by making us have a great attention to detail, so we just look at what it right in front of us. T...

I used to think it did but I have chronic fatigue and a vitamin d deficiency, and maybe it's related to inattentive ADHD too. Every couple of hours after doing a task I get tired. Even after going to the shops for 10 minutes. There probably is a mental drain on us with on sensory issues and our anxi...

The world has certainly been changed by him. Divided. Curable diseases have come back. It seems everyone is just getting sick around me, although that could be because it's winter here. I'm surprised this is the first I've heard about his death and the conspiracy death rumor. My anti-vax brother wou...

But that would be like someone were telling more than a hundred years ago that black people should not create offspring, because their offspring would only be predisposed to lifelong suffering. What really seems to be the problem, is intolerance. Oppression by the majority. If people would only be ...

Why should we miss out on the fun? Just don't focus so much on the negative aspects. I could probably focus on all my negative attributes and want to give up as well. I just keep going and fighting through all the BS people throw at me. I'm choosing to not have kids because of the financial burden a...

I just don't know what to do with plastic packaging. Do I put it in with the glass bottles? It just looks weird in there.

We have three big bins: blue is paper recycling, red is general garbage and yellow is glass and (hopefully) plastic.
