Hello Again,

I never received a reply from Alex about this and I'd still like to promote my project on here. (I'm running out of time.) Unless someone has an objection, I'd like to make a post about the project with a link to the crowdfunder.

Sorry to be a pain, but I'm having trouble with the PM system.

I've tried sending Alex a message, but it won't send. It just moves into my outbox and stays there.

Can anyone help me with this?

Hi there,

My name's Simon. I joined the site shortly after being diagnosed back in 2007, though I haven't posted here for years now. I was wondering if it would be ok to promote a project I'm involved with on this site? It's a crowdfunder for a social enterprise that would employ autistic people.

I used to do that alot when I was younger. I still do it occasionally when I'm anxious, but I'm more likely now to pick at my facial hair.

I played most of the main titles. Magicland was the best. By then, they'd got the difficulty level about right - the first game you didn't even have an energy bar, the monsters killed you with one touch!

Mine's looks a bit better than that.

For me, the seminal title was MagicLand Dizzy. You can get all the originals on the fansite too.

They were puzzle/platform games on the old 8-bit and 16-bit machines. I only ask because I've made one! If no-one minds the plug, you can find a whole bunch of Dizzy fan games at http://www.yolkfolk.com/dizzyage/index.html It's not my site or anything, but my game is called Dizzy vs. The Snow Queen....

Getting an innate ability to small talk and interact spontaneously. It would help a lot of my social problems and I would have better luck finding friends. I was hoping someone would say that. Why do you want to do it? Do you see it as a way of solving problems in your life, or is it something you'...

What has improved my life a lot recently is having someone to go to class with and do projects with who also helps me with other uni-related stuff I have trouble with. I don't know if this counts though, your question only allows for things that aren't yet. It definitely counts. I'm looking for rea...

Hi Everyone,

I joined WP a few years back and haven't been on for a while. I wanted to ask everyone a question:

What one thing would improve your quality of life most?

Cheers

Hi Elisa, Had a look at the mindbuilders website. Found it very interesting. Their approach seemed to chime with my understanding of autism and the sort of things one might do about it. I wondered, did they talk about autistic adults at the seminar? Do you think the sort of approach they talked abou...
