I understand what you mean. I am 38 and always felt like an outsider, even in my own family. Just continue to be yourself, it is the best way!

Guys look favourably on women who talk less, think and act rationally, and bring less drama to the relationship, right? I think guys like women who don't want to be like everyone else. That is how us Aspies are, but I can add drama to a relationship. Wouldn't life be boring without a little drama?

I also have long pauses and one aquaintence (who was working)recognized my voice over a Starbucks loudspeaker when I ordered because of the pauses.
