I think you have the right to be kind of hurt, for sure. I run into this situation a lot, and I think it's really hard to tell if it's intentional or not (and I don't want to blame someone for leaving me out unintentionally, but honestly that hurts a lot too anyway). Even if they really did just run...

The good thing is this is incredibly normal, because he was lonely. When people are lonely they try too hard. We're not designed for dating, back in "the day" (when our genes were rolling in the Cro Magnons) he'd have simply raped you until he was bored then left you to raise his violent monkey-bab...

For those making comments to the effect that the blogger was moderating the comments herself (and doing so in a biased manner), you should know the Feministing is actually a blog with a staff of eight and they also take submissions from non-staff. The person who wrote this particular entry does not ...

Truly excellent post, HopeGrows, I think your analysis is spot on. Being NT does not automatically equal being mentally stable or well equipped for handling interpersonal relationships. It's pretty easy to assume that not having difficulties with interpreting or expressing body language, facial expr...

Definitely hot. But until I was about 16 or 17, I was cold all the way. To the point where I'd freak out about how I was "being burned" if the woman who cut my hair used even somewhat warm water to wash it beforehand.

Right now I'd like - The Borderlands DLC All DLC for FO3 Dissidia Final Fantasy Little Big Planet GOTY edition Pre-order of the collector's edition of Star Trek Online Kingdom Hearts 358/2 (I've held off because I heard it wasn't so great, anyone have any opinions on this?) Chances are my mother wil...

Probably at least comparable to Phantom Hourglass. I was initially a bit put off by the train concept, but the game does look pretty decent, with lots of good puzzles and such. And you know, I've played and enjoyed every Zelda game they've ever put out, so I figure now is not the time to lose faith,...

Like others have said, I think you just have to try it and see how it works for you. Which is actually advice that I hate, because it always seems to go along with "oh, the side effects will go away in a few months, just bear it out!". As my side effects from these types of drugs have in the past in...

My dad is going to LOVE this thing :) I saw it on Kotaku and that was my very first thought. My mom will probably like it too, but she's not the one always complaining about how the screen of her current DS is too small! I will be interested to see when this comes to the US, though. I mean, it is cl...

I can't be of much help with the timing issue (I'm pretty bad at it myself) but for walkthroughs I always use gamefaqs.com. Dunno if they have Paper Mario but they probably do, they seem to have everything, and they definitely have at least Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. In fact they're g...

What types of music do pot heads like? I dunno, all the pot heads I've met like the Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, Phish, Sublime, that kind of thing. Stoner music! You are right though, the only time it makes sense to ask what kind of music a group of people like is if the reason they're a group...

I have twins one with AS one without, the one without has a lot of of the characteristics of her brother and demonstrates signs of AS all the time, but nevertheless its been ruled out. My NT daughter actually at times, in her mannerisms, seems more likely the one with AS. Just out of curiosity, do ...

You say you have the understanding of a few of the teachers, so one thing I might suggest is asking them to pick a few of the most mature and trustworthy kids in the class your son has with them, and pulling them aside one day to have a talk about how the teacher would like them to help her make sur...

Said friend is dating the drug addicted guy who talks trash about her behind her back because she thinks he will "make up for her faults". That kind of makes it sound like she has low confidence and believes that she deserves to be treated poorly. That could have been a problem she's had all along,...
