So many subissues. How do we do this? A cryogenic sleep that chills but doesn't freeze only works for so long as you would still age/atrophy with the passing of time. Cryogenic freezing would damage cells and tissues as body fluids turn into crystals. Reviving a frozen person as this point would ma...

It's really for the most part dependent upon what technological advances happen between now and then. Without the help of technology it's basically down to luck (assuming of course that you avoid known life-shortening things like obesity, smoking etc), and the odds aren't good. And if you do get to ...

I think it's just standard psychopath behaviour; they seek out positions of power over others so they can do whatever they like, and get away with things they otherwise wouldn't have got away with.

The uranium isn't a big deal; it's barely radioactive and in terms of general toxicity it's around in the same territory as lead. Of course, terrorists stealing uranium makes for much scarier sounding story than if they stole a bunch of car batteries, but the danger's about the same. The cobalt 60 i...

Perhaps it is better, then, to replace parts of the body at different times. Say, change your upper torso, then replace your organ systems, then change your lower torso, then remove your legs and replace them with new ones, then your arms (probably at the same time as the upper torso), and at some ...

It certainly is possible; Dr Robert White did a lot of experiments in the 1960s (I think) on brain transplantation, which show that moving a brain to a new body is a possibility. Obviously back then they didn't have the technology to connect the brain to the rest of the nervous system, but steady pr...

I think artificial lab-concocted chemistry is never as healthy for your brain as the ones Ma Nature made for us. It wasn't made for us. The psychoactive chemicals in plants for the most part evolved to stop the plant from being eaten. Lab created chemicals on the other hand are specifically designe...
