Thanks everyone.. I don't think I'm cut out for Cultural Anthropology and especially not at this level ( university), I think I'd fare much better if I'd take it down a notch. Perhaps I'll be studying 'below my level', but at least I'll know I'll be able to make it without too much stress. Though I ...

In September of this 'school year' I started my Cultural Anthropology course at university. Within 2 months I started getting the feeling that this was not for me. However, because I found a bunch of subjects quite interesting (mostly the introduction to Cultural Anthropology itself and the 'methods...

To the day I was born.

Or perhaps to when I was 16.

I don't really feel a need to experience another time I guess.

Though it would be cool to go see dinosaurs, but then again you might get ripped apart and eaten :(

the clay film isnt a childrens show, nor is it banned. Correct, it's a movie called The Adventures of Mark Twain. We had maybe half of it on a VHS and I've watched it quite a few times growing up...one of these days I'll buy it and get to see the whole thing  I adored that movie as a child. T...

I really can't calm down from walking. Too much sensory issues:\ And it's worse now 'cause my headphones broke (I'm going to order a new pair soon, studio headphones so I'll be able to listen to music in top quality XD). I do want the button because then you can control it. HOW the hell by the way, ...

Yeah.. that doesn't work either >_< If only you could just go into your brain and turn the switch -special interest- off. I think I'm just going to email my teacher and explain why I have trouble finishing my stuff. My head is still on meltdown mode:\ So so busy it succcccccccks. It's like I'm going...

It's a good idea, and theoretically it should help;) It's not pathetic. But I did that as well... I knitted for at least 1/2 hour and I promised myself that if I was a good girl and would read 1 chapter, I could get myself that sugar cane yarn... I even let myself indulge in my second interest, Japa...

What do you do? I'm under major stress right now. Because of the flu, I've missed two classes and haven't been able to do any homework (one assignment is for a grade:\). All hope of meeting the deadline is pretty much lost, though....just maybe I could hand in a very bad version.. just so I'll have ...

I've tried but the thoughts about the diagnosis (and with it my entire life and future) are too dominant. On top of that I can't stop thinking about knitting/wool either >_< And I have a feeling my brain is about to enterbreak down city. I suppose I could at least e-mail my professor and explain to ...

I was diagnosed in one session; they brought in my mum and asked her a lot of questions about my childhood and that seemed to tick the boxes. If you saw me casually, you probably wouldn't guess I had it at all. You don't have to do anything with your diagnosis; if you pass as normal, then well done...

I guess in a way that makes sense... I was just thinking that I'd have to do a ton of tests and that I would have to go in for a lot of sessions with the psychologists to determine whether I'd actually have it or not. I mean, I'd imagine that finding out whether someone has an autism spectrum disord...

I'm not a veteran by any means. I joined near the Summer holidays. Up until today my profile said that I thought I might have asperger's but that I wasn't sure (big emphasis on the not sure part). I went in for an assessment more so to rule it out, rather than to confirm it. Thursday was the first t...
