I LOVE sudoku! I'm not all that much into numbers and math in general, but I can spend hours doing Sudoku. There's something so satisfying about going through each and every little square and figuring out by process of elimination what can and can't go there. It being something predictable and repet...

I've learned to not stim or minimize my stimming in public, but I doubt I'm always fully aware of all the stimming I'm doing. When I'm by myself I flap my arms and rock back and forth. I've also recently added a very satisfying popping noise I make with my lips to the stimming. I'll also look for pa...

if I have standing water that I can't simply dump because the vessel is fixed, do you think I could add a small amount of bleach or ammonia to the water to kill the larvae? What's the standing water in? If it's something animals could drink from it wouldn't be responsible to dump bleach or ammonia ...

I've a transgender man. I've never felt like a girl. It took me a long time to figure out I was a guy, since I didn't have a strong gender identity beyond "not girl", and I never got along with guys more than I got along with girls.

My favorite soup is "what cans do I have in the cabinet?" soup! Haha.

I made soup yesterday with green beans, kidney beans, onion, and macaroni shells. Yum!

Dinosaurs (especially Stegosaurus). Pretty much all amphibians and reptiles, but especially turtles. Donkeys. Dogs, especially collies. Dragonflies. Butterflies. Grasshoppers and mantises. Squids and octopi. Jellyfish. I also like rhinos but maybe not to the obsessive point. Do mythological creatur...

Lack of sleep and stress are my worst ones. Loud noises and bright lights if I can't remove myself from the situation or do anything about it. I once had a meltdown and was on the phone with my boyfriend, whose voice normally calms me down... I was so upset that even the sound of his voice was makin...

All of them? I love animals! I'll always watch any documentary about animals that's on TV. Animal Planet was my favorite channel when I was growing up, and I still watch it a lot. My long standing obsessions are hawks, falcons, and foxes, though. I really love birds in general, when I was little I'd...

This becomes confusing when a trans who is not out about it and can end up in a homosexual relationship with someone who believes it is a heterosexual relationship. I've gotten a bit better about eye contact. I used to be totally unable to look at strangers. Now I can force myself to, but it's still really uncomfortable. My stimming also used to be completely subconscious, now I can stop myself from doing it in public. I've kind of gotten better at social stuff...

A few nights ago I was talking to my boyfriend and trying to explain to him the different ways that autistic people can experience or do things in relation to sensory issues, and he asked if autistic people read differently than neurotypical people. I think I read in a fairly average way (one word a...
