I just wonder if any of the insurrectionists, are pissed trump did not actually join them there like he said he would in the speech he gave to rally them all up. I know the Proud Boys have turned on him now (allegedly because he did not pardon any of them). It seems like there is a growing angry fa...

It sounds like he might LIKE you. Since it seems you cannot easily extricate yourself from his presence, have you considered disclosing to him? He might appreciate your candor and trust and your relationship might improve. Especially because you're not complaining about his knowledge or overt behavi...

I can't see your location, but if you are in America don't discount the possibility of approaching HR for a minor accommodation under the ADA. You can get something small that won't set you apart too much from your co-workers, but might help reduce your stress level greatly. For example, at my work ...

I do it with soundtracks - videogame or tv series usually. Over and over all day while I work. Keeps out construction noise, office-mates, and other undesirables. Has the added bonus of boosting my hyperfocus since I already know what is coming so well that the sound has the net effect of white nois...

There are thank-you notes that are goofy and non-formal. It would need to suit your personality, not be a "Dear sir, I offer unto thee formal thanks for thy intervention..." <ugh> For me, I'd give a goofy card with something like a "far side" or similar comic (or at least comedic) theme to it. I'd j...

I'm with the "thank you card" crew! But if by chance you DO get reimbursed by your insurance, the "morally right" thing to do would be to pay him back with an explanation that your insurance picked it up. If he won't accept it, THEN I would offer coffee/lunch/whatever, but ONLY if you're comfortable...

There is always the possibility that the publishers are just lying through their teeth about the amount of piracy. Hi Fuzzy, it looks like there was a slight malfunction in your spell checker there, let me fix that: There is the absolute certainty that the publishers are just lying through their bl...
