I'm Asperger's and Bipolar 1 too, and I also take Lamictal (Lamotrigine) as one of the medications. I quite don't feel the side effects, but it helps immensely. I take other medication as well, Lithium, Klonopin, Seroquel. For now. Lamictal seems to work well for me, hope it does and will for ypu too!

I'm diagnosed with both, I have high-functioning Asperger's and Bipolar type 1 disorder. So yes, it is possible to have both. And as I heard they are often comorbid. Though Asperger's is more like social skills, sensory and other problems, but extreme mood swings are definitely a part of Bipolar. Th...

I don't understand when they talk in metaphors, when they don't say the whole sentence, e.g. "are you going", "did he?" and so. And don't explain then. What a hell. I don't get it how do they understand each other when they are talking like that, and this NATURALLY. I also don't get it why do they h...

I am neutral about looking younger, mostly I just love it because it has many pluses, much more than minuses. Why I sometimes don't like it, it's because they think I am not allowed to do some things because, they say, I am too young, 14 or so. I just hate it then, because I am 18 and I always have ...

I am 18 but people always think I am younger, usually that I am 15 or so. When I ask someone I know "how old do you think I am", they answer "you look like 14-15" and then I say "yeah, all I know say it". Sometimes it's great to look younger, because I am immature in one side - my behavior is for ab...

I like music, and I could hardly say which one I really hate.
I can actually fall in love with any song, as I hear it more times or maybe become obsessed.
Mostly I like classic, pop, pop/rock, rock, techno, ethno, traditional and Balcanic.
Right now I mostly listen to Celine Dion and Melanie C.

My answer is NO. We can be smart or stupid, just like other people are. We are only different, so we have different abilities than they have. That's all. An aspie can be genius, an Autie can be genius but also an NT can be a savant. We can all be intelligent and dumb. No matter ASD or NT. It really ...
