I've been dealing with depression since early February, but only realized it a few weeks ago. I stopped even visiting WrongPlanet during that time, and I just thought it was "well, my girlfriend really gets me, and my two closest friends have been asking about Asperger's more, so I don't need to tal...

My favourite Smiths/Morrissey song is the one with the beautiful guitars and clever, vaguely homoerotic lyrics. :P

Ah, you mean the one with Morrissey dolefully crooning? That is an excellent one.

Here's a playlist on Grooveshark of songs that make me happy.

Plenty of vapid songs on there, like Hey Mickey, Then He Kissed Me, I'm Henry VIII I Am, Check On It, etc. Basically, this is a list of songs that make me grin like an idiot.

I experienced it BIG TIME when I was 17 & about to graduate from high school - but I was putting a lot of stress and pressure on myself to get things figured out etc, so for me it was certainly stress & anxiety induced. Perhaps you just haven't figured out what the stressor was? As for your...

For several hours this morning after I woke up, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was just "watching" myself do things and experience things, rather than actually doing and experiencing those things. Listening to music was a very strange experience; it wasn't quite "depressing", but it was very un...

I also think I'm hilarious, but other people do as well. I can make almost anybody laugh. I do accents, impressions, referential humor, wordplay, and just general jokes and observational humor. I also have tendencies towards dry humor and sarcasm (I don't know if I can do this because I understand t...

I've never watched the show or the movie remake, but I bought Jan Hammer's album Escape From Television and my favorite song of all time is Crockett's Theme.

I've only had this happen to me once; it was after a particularly stressful day at work (the demon family children were having a birthday party) where I running back and forth all day between the bar serving drinks to the moms, taking orders for their food, and then keeping the kids out of trouble s...

I was a waitress in a strip joint years ago. The dancers made a lot of money and as the guys got drunker they tipped the waitresses better. The waitresses would help the dancers by pushing drinks for them (the guys would buy a drink for the dancer, who sat with them and they would get a kickback on...

What was the name of the club? I have been to strip clubs, but never had a lap dance. Was there a standard fee, or was it a tipping situation? If so, was the tip given before or after? Did the lap dance meet or exceed your expectations of what it would be like? "Relaxing" is the last adjective I wo...

Well, my diagnosis has made me realize my whole life has basically been a social skill success. I taught myself how to gesture starting when I was eight, and today I have very natural gestures indistinguishable from the norm. I am able to decipher unwritten rules in different social settings by obse...

I'd go ahead and tell him your suspicions; that'll allow him to direct his questioning and not waste time gathering information that may not be helpful. Don't be nervous; the therapy session I went to (where I got my initial diagnosis and a suggestion to get legally tested) was a very comfortable ex...

I'm interested in taking Krav Maga lessons; I've looked up places nearby my school where I could. I have nothing but evening classes, so I would have plenty of open time to schedule it in.

I was a ladies' man up until it became no longer "okay" for the girl to make the first move in a relationship (seemed to happen just before high school). In four years (fifth through eighth grade), I had three girlfriends. Then the social landscape changed, and I've had one girlfriend since (my soph...
