Ok so what do we do with the heads of state who directly caused the deaths of up to 1 million Iraqi civilians Usually, this will be as a result of collateral damage. They didn't set out to kill and terrorise civilians in the way that Hamas, ISIS, or Al-Qaeda, the PIRA or any other group does. In ca...

Yes, I support it and think it necessary. There are hundreds of people who joined ISIS from Britain and many other European countries and a smaller but still significant number from Canada, America and Australia. The terrorist who beheaded James Foley and said he and his buddies "thirsted for Americ...

OP: my IQ is very similar to yours, only with more of a split and a lower PIQ and slightly higher VIQ. I wasn't given a full-scale IQ because I was told that it wouldn't be reliable with such a split. There's a 45 point split which is 3 standard deviations and puts me in only 1% of the population t...

Maybe you should apply for disability so you have something to fall back on if you don't get a job that you can do right away. Then you can assess what things you're able to do and what kind of jobs you could get, maybe you could try a program that helps people with disabilities find jobs, that coul...

Well if you don't need a diagnosis and you aren't diagnosed with any disorder (though as a kid you were diagnosed with AS, I suppose) then that means you're doing well, functioning in society, well enough adjusted and mentally/developmentally healthy. That's very good news. Congratulations.

It's a trend in research (there's more money in researching it than other developmental disorders, lots of prestige in researching it right now), diagnosis and in the media (awareness and activism ect.) I don't like that it's a trend and maybe many others don't either but yes, it is a trend.

Yes, it has become a trend, medical, mental and developmental disorders do become fads, oddly enough.

However, I'm slightly skeptical, since you know, astrological descriptions sound like me, too. If you write anything broadly enough, a lot of people will fit that description. And that skepticism is correct, it's true that people can see themselves in broad descriptions of personality traits. And t...

Yeah, it's often associated with OCD when severe. My psych thinks it's more of a sensory thing for me because it's not associated with any obsessive thought or fear for me and has to do with the feel. Occasionally picking skin (including the scalp) when it doesn't interfere with anything and doesn't...

There's a very long lasting cold virus going around where I live which I have and have had for several weeks (I've lost count). My mum has it too and some other staff at her school. Still, yes, see a doctor and just make sure you're okay.
