I obsess over things for short periods of time, maybe a week or two. I need variety I guess! My social ineptness varies upon the situation and how comfortable I am with it. Out shopping I can usually blend in and be fine, quick conversation is fine. But if I'm in a situation where I need to have lon...

When I was growing up I always had a style all of my own so I've rarely had an issue! When everyone was wearing grunge I was out there with neon outfits. I didn't want to even try to fit in so I went with going out of my way to be an individual. Now that I'm older I try to dress within the norm and ...

My friends are both, though my closest friend is online if that says anything. I think that I often feel more comfortable around those who are likely aspie (I don't go around asking people if they are aspie). Though if they're as socially anxious as I am then we're doomed because we won't get any wo...

I have irregular cycles so I could conceivably (ha!) think that I was having a long cycle when in fact I had a short cycle and became pregnant. Not that it's ever happened, but it's possible. Another thing to note is that when someone finds out they are pregnant they are usually about '4 weeks' alon...

I don't like unannounced visits either, it leaves me unsettled. I need time to prepare myself for socializing. Usually when people are over I keep thinking, "When are they going home? When are they going home?" I hate feeling like I have to entertain people, I'm not very entertaining at all. It stre...

I had never heard the term before, but from reading through the answers here I have to say significant impairment. I most certainly can relate to the feeling of others "not being real", I must have been a teenager when I was able to work through that although the issue does sometimes still rear it's...

I'm self-employed so I can't keep much from my boss. :D I don't see Asperger's as a dysfunction or something negative, I see it as having a different set of positive qualities. So if I was employed by someone else I wouldn't feel the need to share it as being something that needs disclosing. Some th...

I got really into playing it on my computer in college and I even asked for a chess board for Christmas one year and got a really nice one. Wish I could find some real life people who like to play. I don't even think I've ever used the board. :(

This is one of my favorite games but now that I'm not a member I don't really play anymore. That and I don't have as much time as I used to. But now my bank is over full from all my members stuff so if I take anything out I can't put it back in. Plus all the fun stuff was in the member's world. What...

Pan's Labyrinth, Schindler's List, and one with Robin Williams where he was a photographer. I was so mad at my husband for getting that last one, I think I blocked it out though because I can't remember anything about it now aside from what I said about it in the previous sentence.
