Eraserhead (I couldn't even watch it all because it made me feel physically sick, in a weird way, and I am usually fine with strange/gory stuff), Requim For A Dream, Mysterious Skin, Gummo, The Tracey Fragments (not so much disturbing as extremely intense/depressing), Dogtooth. Probably more but tho...

I listen to a lot of things, I tend to go through phases of roughly one genre or another. At the moment it's a lot of 90s grunge rock and britpop, and classic punk.

I couldn't be bothered to read through this whole thread so I'm not sure if this has been said before, but personally I don't like Lady Gaga. I don't hate her, because I don't really see her as worth giving huge amounts of emotion to, but I think her whole act seems contrived. If she were just a nat...

Danger days has some good songs but overall it sounds too happy. If I want to listen to music that isnt depressive I can pick a song by ke$ha or whatever pop artist, they used to make music that was different to that kind of singers. As an aside they were already succesfull when they released the b...

I also know of Courtney Love, Craig Nichols and Gary Numan who are definitely diagnosed. I know about Craig and Gary Numan, (in fact to stay on topic I think that 'Are Friends Electric' is definitely inspired by AS) but how do you know about Courtney Love? Like, how are you sure she is diagnosed? I...

The lyric to this seems as though it's autobiographical. If that's the case then it is literally about an Aspie.

Ladyhawke does have AS, she has said it in a few interviews.. I love her/her music, I'd forgotten about it until I saw this.

I agree with everything about The Smiths, so many of their songs seem to be about my life. :3

I used to be obsessed from the ages of 13-16, since then I have always still liked them but not listened to them as much. Then Danger Days came out and I was reminded how good they are. I disagree they 'sold out' or whatever, you have to be a big fan to understand I guess, but honestly the warmth an...

I was really scared of turning 18 because I thought that it would mean being expected to act differently, or have to be more grown up, and in a way I was right but not in a bad way at all. I found that it gives me the freedom to act however I want, and if anyone has any problem with it then I don't ...

I'm an art student, I spend almost all my waking life either making art or thinking about it in some way. There is a definite influence on the way I work that comes from my attention to detail. When I draw I don't draw something as if it is a whole object.. by that I mean, some people might see a va...

I've never read fanfiction for any other reason than curiosity, and I hope it's not offensive to say that I find it a bit creepy. In particular I mean 'bandfics' and stories featuring real people. It's different I guess if it's using characters who are already fictional, but reading stories about ac...

i am still kind of dazed from it all. on tuesday night (well, wednesday morning) i woke up at about 3am, checked the time on my phone and saw a text from my friend telling me about tickets going on sale at 9am for a video shoot. i was half asleep and wasn't sure what it was about but i set my alarm ...

I know what you mean but I HATE the London Underground, the smell, the sounds, it makes me feel sick. I have memories as a child of being dragged around the tube stations and I just remember it as a blur of faces and dark colours and terrifying loud noises and the constant fear of falling on to the ...

I had never thought there was something with a name to it for an excess of daydreaming, and to be honest it seems a bit pointless, but I definitely fit this. Books, movies, music, video games, and other media may be a daydreaming trigger. Sometimes when I am reading/watching tv/whatever I just encou...
