Well, I just got back from the doctor, and have a full arsenal of pain killers. I will definitely check out that book, "Feeling Good," as soon as I am up and about. I need to rest. I wonder if being an Aspie makes me more prone to catastrophic thinking? :? But pain like this always discou...

I used to have atypical anorexia. Was hospitalized twice for it (voluntarily). They never fixed me, i fixed myself by moving out of state, the change really helped matters. It was never about being fat, not eating was more so like a drug, a way to vent so to speak. A way to deal with depression and ...

"Mainstream images" are all crap that society wants people to be "controlled" by. I ignore the mainstream, always have, always will. It's just not me.

If people judge you by the sound of your voice, then they aren't worthy friends. Who cares what peoples' voices sound like? It's whats inside that counts. Cheesy, i know...

Wow, poopylungstuffing- I didn´t even recognize you in that video! Funny how a different voice and hairstyle can really change a person. I guess I never had a monotone voice- at least, I don´t think I did- but my voice and inflections sound almost exactly like my Mom´s. In fact, people confuse us o...

There seems to be a lack of doctors and programs for adults (especially females) on the autism spectrum around here, and other places from what i hear as well. I honestly don't think that a lot of doctors are that educated in it. They can make a diagnosis, yet when you talk to them it's clear they a...

I would take it he meant "5 months of this" meaning she wouldn't put out for him. Good for her! All he seems interested in was sex anyway and they did have a 10 year age different. He at least could have respected her not wanting to have sex with him.

There's lots of reasons that you might be a social misfit; there's got to be more to it than that to diagnose AS. Agreed. But some can confuse the social difficulty from being intelligent for AS. And if you add the intellectual interests that can be confused with aspie interests, and a greater sens...

I was thinking the same thing.
I don't see how it's funny or laughable when children get spanked, yelled, at hit for being bad.If you grew up in an abusive home, you'd understand why.
You sound sadistic.

Those with a low IQ may be happy in their ignorance of things and how they work. We don't know, for we are not them. Oh the old "ignorance is bliss" trope. Those with low IQ must be happy happy happy because they don't understand the miseries of the world. It aint necessarily so. My (low IQ autie) ...

That's good. I'm sure you couldn't have loved her, as true love is not one person wanting to have sex if the other isn't ready.
