How about we get rid of human emotion, and find LOGICAL rather than EMOTIONAL reasons for killing each other? Not entirely sure if that's an improvement, however.

I'm really struggling with how this guy apparently thinks all the women here on this board are sexist against women and are psychologically projecting their sexism onto the male posters...

I'd say my "projecting" is rather accurate. See, you're making little sense. How do you go from, what I said (that I don't see rampant sexism), to questioning what I think about the reasons for some murders (and that I probably have a sexist opinion). Before I even continue... http://en.wikipedia.o...

But it is unwanted, in that a love for power doesn't give the spirit what it really wants: unconditional love, those lessons are learnt when power is forcibly striped away from us through age and other afflictions, and it's then when people tend to devalue us because we're no longer 'worthy', becau...

I suppose you also don't think misogyny had anything to do with Elliot Rogers murdering a bunch of people either? Perhaps we should all just stop "projecting" and take what he did in context, yea? Understand where he's coming from? Hint: It was probably a deep, dark pit of seething misogyny. His ha...

Alex has directed us to basically go soft on sexist comments and "let people look stupid". StarvingArtist and tarantella64 have been encouraging people to contact Alex directly to let him know that they are bothered by his policy; if enough people do that he might do something. Gotcha. I'll send hi...

The desireable traits that you've listed all fall under "power" which is what the rapist uses to subdue a woman. Dude, anything that allows you to influence your environment can be called "power", you've reduced the term to such nebulousness that it's become completely useless. Also, you're forgett...

Do we actually have any female mods BTW? Not sure if loaded question or not... I'm one. I'm just as constrained by Alex's moderation policy as the rest of the moderators are, unfortunately. What useful changes can you think of that might allow you and the other mods to curb the misogyny around here...

And isn't that precisely what rape is? Using your superior strength to acquire love.

No, rape is forcing unwanted sexual acts upon a person. There's a big big BIG difference between fostering desirable traits and hence attracting women, and forcing sexual acts upon someone.

C'mon now...

^ I would argue that she treated him that way during his moments of weakness because she knew he was worth it, but at the very least you've got a few decent ways of looking at it, so I'll leave it at that. Best of luck in romance, should that be what you're after!

if feminism so evil why there has not been a single case where woman goes on a killing spree? Women integrate easier and can find a suitable partner, even if they are overweight or have mental issues. Guys on the spectrum have to put in a lot more work to improve themselves and even if you have a n...

I can understand where you're coming from, but just take this story into account, it's the story of my paternal grandparents. My grandfather first met my grandmother when he was quite young, 17 or something like that. He was a hard-working, industrious young marine and these qualities attracted my g...

That's a condition though... If that's the case, then I'm sorry mate but your "unconditional" love doesn't exist, or is exceedingly rare. Welcome to the real world. And the path you're proposing will ultimate bring most humans to face the sad truth, when they decide to love based on ability you're ...

it's unconditional because there was never anything you had to do or say to earn it, so an autistic man with not much to offer would be loved by such a person, but the decent you describe people aren't at all common. I'm sorry man, but you're not gonna get that kind of unconditional love, you have ...

Here's the problem, is it really love when a women can only tolerate me for my abilities? Abilities which WILL fade. The truth is a lot of people on the spectrum have a much greater chance of finding REAL unconditional love, but that sort of love is extremely rare, hence their grief. I could do all...
