Having been in one for just over a year now... It can be challenging in that we both have things we struggle with that we have to try to help each other with. But it can also be very rewarding in that we understand each other on a different level and communicate on a deeper level. |

I am assuming that his reaction will be the same to all ADHD meds? Not likely. They are all quite different, and different people react differently to different meds. I would suggest speaking with the special ed teacher about this first. If you are not satisfied with her response, then you might consider speaking with the principal. In any case, I think the ideal goal would be for you and the teacher to be on the same page regarding Isaac, so venting here rather ... |
