I'm the same height (5'7", 170 cm) I was at age fifteen and I'm now 47. My best advice is to go for hi-heeled sneakers? http://images.teamsugar.com/files/users/14/148499/50_2007/ashus2002012867_prod_zoom_front.jpg BTW Bill, I did still grow horizontally also, but one should consider themselves...

It seems like there would be physical benefits, especially to the arms and upper body.

I could easily eat maccheroni for three meals a day. Same goes for pizza. Of course I am part Italian.

I have mixed feelings about hugging. I don't think hugs belong in the workplace and should be kept only on one's social circle. I did find myself comfortable hugging a lot of dudes (including strangers) in a sports bar last nite after our Rockies beat the Marlins 8-1. Of course by then I was pretty ...

I'm the world's biggest sissy with needles. I always demand that the person doing a blood draw on me use a "butterfly" needle for the procedure (the same type used to start an IV with). This alone takes away much of the pain and anxiety. Sometimes the lab tech will claim they don't have the experien...

The sudden onset stabbing pains above the belly button sound like the first symptoms of a gall bladder going bad. I went through this in 1998 and that's how my attacks started. I finally ended up having it removed in a complicated surgery because I diden't act soon enough.

I consider myself blessed with a full head of hair at age 47. I've grown mine shoulder length as a teen and will keep it that way for the rest of my life regardless of what whatever male "fashion" tries to dictate. Having both grandfathers going bald young made me worry years ago to the pointe where...

Pat, I have two medals in amateur freestyle. The first one I got in 1985 in the 136 class (BAWA rules). It took me four years to finally win a second medal. By the time I got that in 1989 I was up to 167 class. Health problems from surgery complications forced me out of competition over a decade ago...

Favourites as a participant: football (U.S. style) as a kicker. Ah you mean Handegg. http://lh5.ggpht.com/_APjgPmP_12w/SZEkmZuG1CI/AAAAAAAAEc0/mZzSuIDvRR0/Handegg_thumb4.jpg If that big brown "egg" ends up in MY hands, then the sport is called "Fumbling"... http://www.dvdizzy.com/images/a-c/c...

I have been driving for 10 years. I think I am a fairly decent driver. I speed sometimes but not too often. I zone out alot so sometimes I go a little slower. I can drive on the freeway and surface streets. I'm in the Denver area also and I avoid Colorado Blvd. like the plague, especially south of ...

Once I have to "go" bad enough, it doesn't matter who I think might be watching me. Infact at sporting events or concerts I'm always wearing a pull-up diaper under my pants with an absorbent pad inserted in the front. What usually happens with me is that I'll start drinking beer at the event and not...

I don't catch viruses easily despite being otherwise in bad health. You don't need to have constant colds or flu for others to perceive you as a "sick" person. My allergies as well as the aftermath of past surgery complications have taken care of that for me. Regarding the "flu", I might catch somet...

Favourites as a participant: Wrestling, football (U.S. style) as a kicker. Favourites as a spectator: Boxing, basketball, roller derby (especially womens'), and powerlifting. Sport I've always wanted to try, but so far haven't had the chance: Soap box derby. BTW Pat, I think "Buzz" is the coolest ma...

I would add suggestions of getting a hearing test (including tympanography). Also you might look into taking a beginner's ballet class.
BTW, what type of shoes have you been wearing? (I.E. flats versus heels).

In U.S. football (NFL), the first thing that comes to mind are the New England Patriot spectators who were on hand for the Pat's last playoff game (a wild card with the Ravens, IIRC). After throwing his third interception, quarterback Tom Brady was being booed and cat-called every time he took the f...
