We're in Canada, not Australia, can you please just make my sleep-wake cycles more suitable for the time zone we live in?
:tired:
And stop showing me vivid memories of something cringey I said or did decades ago when I do go to bed!

Superman doesn't even need his costume to fly. He could fly around as Clark Kent if he wanted to. But if you wear a Superman costume, because it's Halloween or you're cosplaying at a comic book convention, you can be expected to hear people tell you for hours why you and Superman suck and why Batman...

The thing with mood stabilizing drugs is that they can suppress both good and bad moods, and basically make you numb to everything.

Which doesn't seem a problem in my case. It's my bad moods that end up getting worse.

I keep my cell phone turned off most of the time because I still have a home phone, and my cell phone is mainly for when I'm out of the apartment. If I got a call late at night, however, I usually don't answer it because it would be very unusual for anyone I know to call me at that time. Unless some...

I remember as a kid being totally confused by the differences in both the metric system and the "American" system. Maybe it's because of dyscalculia, or maybe not. In Canada practically everyone defines their own height and weight in pounds and feet but we buy groceries in grams and liters...

Last night I accidentally knocked my electric fan over, and one of the fan blades snapped off. Maybe I can glue it back on, but it will have to be really strong, quick setting glue. Krazy glue didn't work. Go figure, I think it only works on things you don't want glued together. Like your fingers. T...

Great, now people are going to think we're a bunch of stereotypical smelly, primitive, antisocial ape-men who speak in grunts as we drag our knuckles on the ground. Which really isn't accurate to Neanderthal people. Except the smelly part, as all humans are smelly.

Masking will do much more harm than good, it'll be like acting but you're doing it constantly without getting paid. It will exhaust you emotionally and physically.

And abelist slurs are much worse labels than saying you have ASD.

Of course I won't achieve the American Dream. I'm Canadian.

And I just love how Americans just naturally assume everyone else is also American and everything in other countries is exactly the same as the USA.

I dreamed I was watching Weird Al on TV hosting his own show. Not the short-lived kid's show that had a very cheesy moral lesson in each episode back in the 90s, but more like a sketch comedy more aimed at adults like SNL. But it seemed all the "humor" was about "wokeism". For ex...

US Soldiers during WWII would sometimes take the teeth, ears, or even the skulls of Japanese soldiers as trophies. You've got to love the way war has dehumanized hundreds of thousands of people because they're seen as "the enemy". They don't see them as people who think and feel and are no...
