I was vaguely aware of that phenomenon, having taken some psych and biopsych classes, but reading that information again helped me apply it more directly to my situation...always a challenge for me  Thank you for the link. It seems like as long as I approach it responsibly and objectively, (yes... |

I don't want to date my therapist, I just want to be able to see them outside of a clinical setting for friendly purposes. I've been kicked around from so many school therapists and I finally found someone who cares and understands. That's probably why I became attached. |

I guess I don't have a specific question, which is a bad start. :? Though I do have something of a dilemma which has been..taking up a lot of mental energy. To start, I have been in a healthy and happy long-term relationship for 4 years. I met my first private therapist early this summer. This perso... |

My boyfriend is hungarian/italian and jewish, and I adore his nose. It's very.. patrician. It's long and straight and fairly unblemished...very aesthetically ideal, in my mind. His mother got a nose job when she was my age, but I think if I had been in her position, I would have kept it.It's lovely.... |

It is really easy to get one. Just tell them you have lots of headaches so bad you vomit, and have trouble sleeping. I got mine for my plantar fasciitis though. I was going to say anorexia, anxiety, and allergies. Alliteration. Unfortunately all of that would be true. :? I have the bottles f... |

I'm in Cali and I'm trying to get a card... I just can't drive (no license/focus) and have to be..discreet about getting the approval. (I have found it helpful; I guess that's all I should say) |

Methodical, systematic, and thorough. Total texture maniac. ("this is SOFT" (*tortured groan from boyfriend* "don't stop there please!")) I have a tendency to find a particularly silky bit of skin and get fixated on it. Torturous, I've heard. what a wimp [youtube]http://www.youtube.com... |

mm I hear you bro. It's a way of life. I approach most things with ambivalence. Neglect and ambivalence are the active ingredients in my recipe for success. You sound fine. Just explain that those types of boring decisions take more mental energy for you, and that you have to recharge in order to be... |

I feel like "offending people" is sort of an iffy topic. I have found that people who are truly socially adept are rare , and you can tell when they are, because you leave the conversation feeling better than you did before, and like you are liked by one person. I think most humans offend people. I ... |

I think men tend to be more vocal when they appreciate a stranger's body. Interpret that how you will. :? I also think I can safely say that for every person, there is another who would find them attractive. It depends on the culture of where you live as well. Sometimes skin tone is THE determining ... |

I always thought if I had a bf and he watched porn I wouldn't have a problem with it...but it happened with my ex I caught him and I felt so bad and useless because I couldn't fulfil his needs... Aw don't feel bad. I can see why you would, but maybe he could have communicated that desire a little b... |

I agree with this actually. It's true of my mother, and she's admitted it. so it's not just me. |

I think my ideas are a bit unconventional. My ideals for myself don't match what I am expected to look like. I think my aesthetic preferences vary rather wildly  Oh man.
