You could try The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Steig Larsson. This has two perspectives within a developing relationship and explores the themes of mixed relationships you mention. You get to see traits and patterns in each character and how they misunderstand the other's intentions because of the...

I like NT's too,but I do need space. That is a very good point: how much of our behaviour is consciously directed to create our social spaces and maintain our separatism? If it does come down to anti encroachment then I don't think we need a potentially antagonistic collective ,rather more effective...

Aspergers Liberation Front?! What exactly are we going to do once we have 'liberated' ourselves? Has this strategy been subject to a non-executive dysfunction analysis ?

I liked Salander. The original Swedish films portray her as slightly less cool and able than the American version , but in the original she comes over more unintentionally but genuinely cool and has an air of innocence even though she has faced up to and and had to deal with terrible things. In the ...

Hey , Where have I been? I got SI'd in some stuff in the Uk.- You know your quote about Nazis, well there's some serious anti-disabled sh*t starting up in the UK media. I ran into this Aspie guy Arac in a national newspaper forum who is fighting like hell to redress it so I stuck around to give him ...

Hi, I'm from the UK and I ridden bikes on and off for thirty years. I 'off' at the moment but coincidental to your research I've got the urge to get back on a bike and start riding again. I'm eyeing-up a small Italian middleweight, a Moto Guzzi V50 classic. It's been so long since I had anything to ...

Do you want to play mutant cyborg robot or alien with a bunch of friendly NT's? - they want to play .

If you want to be mutant go on as a mutant , if you want to be a cyborg be a cyborg ,it is role play.

They know we can debate the serious stuff but they want to know how to play as well .

I have been building bridges with NT's in UK . The Guardian Newspaper has an online section called Comment Is Free and the NT's are friendly to us and some work in jobs health, caring, parents that involve us. The Comment is Free ( CiF) is a fairly anarchic platform and they will not mind this unles...

It can be pretty damn horrible, I agree but I will outline my case there as well as here. There is a chance to engage an otherwise static NT crowd and a strong chance that the editor will go with this. I am not pleading our case, I am demanding our right to be heard . Some will listen. Hopefully you...

Sorry, this got me the first time. Cif = Comment Is Free . The online Uk newspaper The Guardian has a seriously good forum for debate . It is one of few newspapers in our country (UK) that will challenge some social and environmental issues. I have been trying to raise debate about this whole TOM em...

Please wait. I will post the link to the research in the 'neutral' environment of CiF later tonight and explain why I am doing this. The nature of the research appears harmless in itself , but I assess the broader implications for treating one group of people as as study /sample in the broader socia...

I will publish the link to the research tonight on CiF . I want to do it there to push for a response and develop awareness in the UK. But first we have to decide how we, all of us who are interested, react to this research and reason our way to a strategic response. To keep a completely neutral sta...
