Can you read things in large print or do you prefer audio? I was super excited to see that google chrome has an audio version for people with low vision to use chrome easily. Thanks for providing a link though! For those of us who find rare genetic disorders and other bizarre medical things to be fa...

This post is of great interest to me. My son, could have been separated at birth from the OP, they sound identical. The big difference is my son crashed and burned at college due to undiagnosed learning disability + aspergers + ADD = severe depression. He is doing much better now but still refuses ...

Hiya. I have cerebral palsy and what my doctors think is mitochondrial disease. Both linked to autism, hmm. I haven't heard of CP being linked to Autism before...How does that work? Also, how extensive is your CP? I have a bunch of friends with CP and I know there is a HUGE range of actual presenta...

I never heard those things. Those sound like things you would hear if you were a privileged, normal-looking girl who tells people she's autistic (for some reason). Generally if someone had a problem with me they were too scared to say anything. Fraac, I found your response interesting. It is true t...

Have you ever seen a nutritionist/dietician with him? Most of the info you could probably find online or in boo...

I have some of the same things happen, not all the time though. The biggest one is being kissed. I can't really deal with my boyfriend kissing me on the lips if I haven't kissed him first. Like him just giving me a kiss to be sweet is too much. I can kiss him, just I can't deal with him kissing me. ...

I have never tried GFCF diets because when I first considered them I looked into it a little bit and found nothing showing any real benefits. Having stomach problems affects your body, your stress, and your physical comfort. When those things are affected, of course it could make behavioral problems...

YES! I think anatomy and physiology are super fun and so my boyfriend bought me the big illustrated human body book as a present. I also find rare disorders and things like that fascinating. Also, due to my body always malfunctioning in some way, I have learned a lot about ways the body can go wrong...

I hope he enjoys! You definitely might want to bring some ear plugs just in case. Also, do they have 2 person karts? Some places do and that would enable him to experience it without having to focus on the steering and stuff if that is hard. I personally had a horrible experience when I went gokarti...

Do you have a diagnosis/underlying condition for all that stuff? Or just the back injuries coupled with bad luck or something? Depending on your definition, yes. I consider myself so. This past summer I started experiencing nerve damage symptoms and so they sent me for an MRI to get treated for a he...
