From what I understand, no one is telling you you can't use the word and it should be banned. You are free to use it but free speech also allows people to object to it and express how they feel about the word. Also I have seen people with disabilities object to the word. I believe the movements are...

Who are people to tell us how we can and can't speak, and why is it always neurotypical people who cry about the word "ret*d"? The First Amendment trumps political correctness in every way, shape, and form, and I, an Aspie, will not have some NT tell me how to speak or even think! I'll say the word ...

"What are your hobbies?" Srsly. I ran into a similar question when I applied at a local hippie shop. WTF does that have to do with the job? They also asked what two things I'd change about the world if I could do so, as well as why I wanted to work there. SERIOUSLY? ISN'T IT f*****g OBVIOUS...

No. If you're old enough to fight and die for your country, you're old enough to vote. Instead, require people to pass a battery of IQ, science, history, economics, civics, math, and language tests in order to vote. Also, bar religious nuts from voting or even running for office as their beliefs are...

Blasphemy laws and other religious backwardness has no place in any modern society and it never will.

The sooner we change the First Amendment to prohibit religion, the better. Religitards have too much freedom and power and it's high time we punished them for retarding the progress of society.

The "Monsanto Protection Act" didn't protect Monsanto from ANYTHING. It only allowed farmers to keep using biotech seeds when the safety of those seeds was challenged in court, and it expired this past December. http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/mpa.asp @ Misslizard: There are no animal genes ...

I don't think they'll ever find a "cure" for autism. The governments probably have had the cure for cancer for years but don't want the public to know to know about it because the doctors and nurses and pharmacists and even wig designers would lose a lot of money. :x How can you be so intellectuall...

If the dinosaurs were still here, we wouldn't be. Their extinction is one of the main events that led to the rise of mammals. 1. Not all the dinosaurs went extinct. Birds still exist. 2. If the non-avian dinosaurs didn't die out, we probably would still have evolved, but maybe later. Assuming we st...

I don't trust it given the man responsible for it That's like saying you don't trust Volkswagen cars given the Nazis originally made them or that you don't trust Ziploc bags because Dow made Agent Orange back in the day. You may as well say you don't trust Mitsubishi cars because that company made ...

You have to keep in mind that the studies showing aspartame was safe comes mostly from entities funded by the very investors that own the aspartame industry. So you have a veiled conflict of interest. That's not entirely accurate. Case in point, this study: http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/1...

Ah it sounded like you where in the store with two kids or something....even so artificial sweetners aren't healthy and in my opinion should be avoided, as for directly causing cancer that could be a bit far fetched...but not sure that is grounds to have someone beaten and imprisoned? But yeah a lo...

I went out grocery shopping with my mom, stepsister, and kid half-sister yesterday. Upon walking toward the dairy and ice cream aisle (The frozen section in this particular store is split into dairy and non-dairy), "Teisha" (Not my kid sister's real name) clamors for some freeze pops. The stepsiste...

Who do those savages think they are banning Turks from accessing YouTube? It's time you guys took up arms and overthrew your government. The AKP are Islamist authoritarian bigots. The CHP look slightly better. All that banning doesn't keep us from doing anything, actually. We might be dic*s when it...
