The problem is that in order to make sense of things, humans have a both useful and awful habit of categorizing things. This also applies to sexuality. For example, there's a show that I watch and a character made a comment about how societal biases codify attraction. Well, she was right. When she ...

I probably won't ever go ahead and do it, but yes. Every day.

Unfortunately those links didn't really help. People really don't like to answer their emails, even though the information is listed which is quite baffling. I detest using the phone because of reasons, usually related to rambling and misunderstanding. But I begin to digress here. I contacted my old...

I was diagnosed with Aspergers a few years back. I did this to satisfy my desire to understand my past and why things are the way they are with myself. Since then I pretty much ignored the diagnosis considering I was living as a hermit essentially and didn't put myself into bad situations that could...

I can relate to this. I work in retail so I have to make eye contact. One thing I do is look at noses and eyebrows. Sometimes it works well... But not always.

I totally understand how it is. Good luck mate. With practice you will get better if you try some of my secret techniques.

Orphan Black is a really great show. The lead actor is phenomenal and has a shocking range of skill in portraying different characters. The premise and interesting the storyline moves along quickly without stagnation. I highly suggest checking out the first few episodes to get a small taste of what ...

Stop "beating around the bush."

Be direct and to the point the next time you have a moment together or you'll never reach a resolution.

I love this series, but I wouldn't say Krieger is AS.
I will concede that someone would have a very large task diagnosing the cast using the DSM though.

Also, this thread probably should have been in the Television and Film section of the forum.

There are only a handful of shows I watch on CN anymore which is a terrible shame. I used to love that network but now it would seem, most cable networks are failing and looking for ways to make quick revenue. Anyhow, enough on that. The shows that I love are Adventure Time, Regular Show, The Boondo...

The original 3 Persona games were more fun in my opinion. They had you actually dealing with demons and negotiating instead of being everyone's savior like in the newer games. I can only hope that P5 moves away from the social links, or at least the typical social links where the MC makes everything...

As mentioned, a great deal of African American families are not prepared or particularly concerned with paying attention to the signs of what it means to be on the spectrum in general due to a number of other much more pressing issues. Is this with all psychiatric disorders the case? :? So, but wha...

I feel that socioeconomic factors come in to play and religious factors also come in to play regarding the amount of diagnosed African Americans. This was a great series before fighting games evolved into what they are now. The detail paid to the animation, design and play style of the characters was wonderful. The overarching storyline, while often confusing was enjoyable and amusing depending on the characters chosen as well. The setting an...
