Otherwise, I watch no TV. My best friend was watching the end of last season so I knew the timeline and watched the finale. It's TV, but it has symbolism, changing use of color, interesting and artistic shots, foreshadowing, varying character arcs, etc.-- much more than just action/whodunnit/crimesh... |

All the time. My dreams have soundtracks, too, tunes composed and played by my subconscious; and I remember the tunes for a while after waking. |

Tonight I was remembering that when my parents are gone, that will be it. I thanked the cats tonight for getting me through this far. |

I am amazed how people are dismissive of ASDs. Perhaps if we showed them the dramatic pictures of brain scans, showing underactivit in key regions, it would give them a credible visual. |

Sounds like Asperger meltdown...
as far as the sleep, YES, that happens to me all the time, after an effort (sensory overload, social stimulus, driving)-- I go crash zzzzz.
Sleep does fix me perfectly, though. |

Very young? Well, I was in some form of school from 1971-1989. It could have been a lot worse because I had great parents, but of course at school there were issues and it wasn't easy. How awful some people who post here had it! |

She can look at Aspergirls by Rudy Simone and that should help you recognize it if she really is aspie... |

Hi, hope you're still here. So sorry about your husband. I came onto this site today because my closest life friend died six months ago and I am going bonkers with lonely sadness today. Meanwhile, I hope not everyone thinks you are strange when they should know that you are grieving. Now, if you are... |

I already did, though I didn't know that was why during pre-AS-known days. I always said that I would have to live here because MIT people 'got' me. Now I know why... |

#38, example: opera
Ha ha! I spent an entire trip in 8th grade singing an opera word for word behind the driver while my peers socialized in the rest of the van. |

I graduated on time from a top, exacting school, with a crummy gpa, with issues I had no clue stemmed from a neurology not then known. I am trying to finish a masters now at 45+, with a 3.6 gpa until last term, though midway through the degree learned that I am aspie. |
