My reaction to fire alarm going off has been horrific. I ended up on the floor, rolled in a ball crying and shaking unable to leave my house with that horrific noise blaring and blaring.. like going right throu my scull. Unable to think and comprehend, unable to move. It was an nightmarish experienc... |

Ask them to cook you your favourite meal... (telling them what you want). Once they've gone to the effort to cook it as you said (while at the same time having to force themselves away from their special interest for you to do this), change your mind and decide you are having something else to eat i... |

I dread to think what may happen next as I am trying to give her space to learn that they are really not worth her while and that its ok to not fit in. I have talked to her more today about the possibility of Aspergers and that she can use it to her advantage, she does not have to be like them. Not... |

ediself.. i agree with you.. 6 days of punishment is far too long for a 9 year old child. Is your husband aware that also many Aspies have no good concept of time, so telling a Aspie child that he will be punished for 6 days, I personally think is a stupid thing to do. Any child.. Aspie or normal.. ... |

Im quite sad about the following article I've just come across and posted link to at bottom.. as I too are currently being treated badly by the law (was jailed and have charges against me.. I tresspassed onto a properly I believed I "owned". I'd been told it was "mine" and I took that literally) and... |

"and sometimes if I look for it, I can't see it. "
That is cause when you try to see it to hard.. it actually alters the balance of your chakras and your chakras have to be in a certain balance to see it. Best to look for it without really looking (its hard to explain what i mean). |

I'm not sure how else to describe it. Sometimes I see, in the air, tiny little specks that are whizzing around really, really fast in many directions, but always in straight lines. No curves or spirals. It's not dust floating in the air. They are tiny, tiny sparkles, kind of. They move kind of like... |

Digestive issues (I have IBS), allergies and anxiety (very common) are more common in those with Asperger's... also sleep issues. |

First post. Very nervous. I'm going to write a book on helping neurotypicals understand what its like to have aspergers and I would like to know what others think i should include or discuss in it. Thank you. I think discussing that we think very different to NTs is important and in many ways we ma... |

I live independantly and have huge issues with this. Some areas I have trouble in is - cooking, I tend to get distracted in whatever is taking my interest at the time so at least one third of the time will completely burn my dinner black (that highly annoys me that I go to effort and then end up wit... |

With her not smiling and just walking away after saying that, I dont think it was a joke. One thing about NTs is they love gossip (something i really hate) and often will go out of their way to get a new juicy piece of gossip some would say. Her approaching you.. was probably more so along this line... |

Indigo, crystal and even the rainbow children are a belief system many of us have (or a knowing). It is possible to be both an Indigo/crystal child as well as an Aspie at the same time. Just like one can be Christian and Aspie or Christian and psychic at the same time. The difference with Indigos.. ... |

I saw that episode and thought it was great. She 's clearly an Aspie and i think that will come out in a future episode. I think she was hired as she's like a miniture of House himself. (Who i believe is also representative of some with Aspergers). "her inability to lie is a bit over the top" That c... |

I have a very high IQ (i test at average scientist level) and are able to "fake it" and blend in (most of the time except if i got emotional over something.. couldnt blend if i was having an Aspie meltdown). This blending in thou is extremely tiring for me and makes me feel completely fake. People w... |
