128. If someone is giving you advice, say things like "I'll do that" or "that's a good idea" or even "You know, I hadn't thought of that". Even if you have no intention of taking that person's advice, it never hurts to make them feel like you're listening and that you respect their experience.

My high school, while not the worst, was certainly an experience. I had two teachers who were openly psychotic, one teacher who was a chronic liar, a workshop teacher who once cut his own thumb off and a principle who was busted for drunk driving. I've also had a classmate who was busted for drug de...

I don't know about coping, but exercise makes me feel better simply because I know its a more productive use of my time than just sitting around the house. Spending an hour or more at the gym lets me come home feeling like I've done something good for my body, and that goes a long way towards improv...

I know he's busy all the time now, but when i get a text, I always make time to respond, even if I can't when I first receive it. It's something I still s...

I force myself to make eye contact at work, but I fear I may be staring too hard. I think some people may be uncomfortable with too much eye contact as well as too little.

I've definitely advanced socially. I still don't have many friends, but after 4 years in the hospitality business, I'm leagues ahead of how i was in high school. I can almost maintain eye contact, and I can go up to people I don't know and engage them in conversation. I still have a long way to go, ...
